He/They/It. Made in 2002. Some random fandom blog w/ a secondary self-ship blog. This blog is basically headcanons, 'x reader' content, other fandom-related stuff, and also me rambling about misc fandom bullsht. Proshippers, MAPs, DNI.

Requests

Requests are currently OPEN.

Rules:

  1. X readers will only be done with characters who are canonically 18+. We don’t do age-ups around here, that’s gross.
  2. I don’t write for canon x canon or oc x canon. Reader insert stories are the only ships I’m willing to write atm.
  3. DNI if you’re a p*do/MAP, Pr*shipper/Comshipper, Doxxer/Harasser, LGBT-phobe, Racist/Sexist, Ableist, if you fetishize groups of people (Races, LGBT, etc.), etc.
  4. No incestuous themes. Ever. This includes alternate reality shenanigans, adopted siblings, half siblings, distant cousins, etc.
  5. I will not do female readers. Gender neutral, NB, and male yes, but not female-aligned. Trans FTM readers are also a-okay, but will probably be written as post-transition unless the request is specific to something before that point. (Like binder trouble, for example.)
  6. Female-aligned peeps DNI with the male reader fics. Please.
  7. I will be more than willing to do any gender of other character however, so feel free to request a male/GN/NB reader with a female character.
  8. Smut is something that’s a bit iffy, not sure if I want to do stuff like that, tbh.
  9. AUs are definitely available, especially soulmate AUs.
  10. I’m willing to write polyamory. But I will not write for open relationships.
  11. You don’t have to go into too much detail, but please ask for more than just ‘Character hugs the reader’ or something like that.
  12. I might not do all requests, please don’t be upset if I don’t do yours.
  13. I WILL NOT write about real people. (Mcyt, Kpop stars, actors, etc.)
  14. More rules may be added/subject to edits.

This was Ordered Reported on May 4th to the floor of the Senate, meaning it cleared committee.

It is unconscionable that at a time when women, girls, trans folks, and other marginalized communities are being persecuted in GOP-led states for exercising bodily autonomy and their right to seek information and travel for Congress to enact a law that threatens the right to privacy and which weakens people's ability to use encryption to protect that privacy.

Far from protecting vulnerable children, this law will make it easier for unscrupulous police departments to implement dragnet searches to punish women who seek information on contraception, and will make it much harder for teens especially to access reproductive care without fear of retaliation, and will further have a chilling effect that will cause more suffering and death of the kind we are already seeing in the post-Roe environment.

It will also make it easier for the GOP to continue their anti-trans witch hunt, as basic sexual education material is already being characterized as a criminal act in states like Florida and Tennessee, and the loss of privacy protections will make it easier to prosecute people for these things.

As annoying and banal as interacting with your reps' staff can be (and make no mistake, is often is both), it CAN make a difference if enough people call in about the same issue. They do track that sort of thing, if only for their re-election campaigns, and on a bill like this which is primarily being pushed for the optics of DOING SOMETHING TO PROTECT THE CHILDREN, making enough noise can scare some of the more skittish congresscritters away from voting yes on this.

This will be the only non-poll related post on this account, as this is a pressing global issue, and I have much more reach on this account than my main. Please, if you are in a position to help oppose this, do as much as you can.

If you cannot do anything directly, I ask that you spread this as far as you can, especially to those in the USA.

@valkyrieandstrangeridingaragorn your tags are magnificent.

lol thanks 😅 I read not long ago a take from someone who claimed Loki was a villain in this scene because he had hurt Odin in order to take over the throne of Asgard and it stayed with me for some reason. It takes some mental gymnastics to claim he’s power-hungry in this scene when the very first thing he does upon hearing the truth is call himself a monster instead of using the new info to ask for what’s rightfully his - like the Casket he’s holding, that relic was taken the same day he was, it belongs to him but he leaves it there anyway.

Not as power-hungry as they make him out to be.

Loki is hungry for acceptance.

He’s always been the odd one out, the weird one, the brilliant tactical seidmadr in a society where magic is mostly the provenance of women and men fight with swords, not words and minds. The reader when most people drink and brawl. Thor’s friends disdain him, Odin is contemptuous of him, even Thor insults him in the same breath as loving him.

Loki just wants to be like everyone else. He wants to be loved and accepted for who he is. The problem is that who he is has never been accepted, and now he’s finally found out why. Because Loki isn’t a who, he’s a what.

As Brannagh put it, “the thin steel rod that’s been holding his brain together snaps.”

I know it’s not hard to point out reactionaries hypocrisy when it comes to like safe spaces or hug boxes or whatever but genuinely how much of an echo chamber do you have to exist in for you to think this is a reasonable thing to say

reblog if attacking fascism is really the hill you want to die on

this is literally like one of the most justified and honorable hills you could die on??? lol??

I mean, if we do it right, the idea is to make sure the fascists are the ones dying.

I’ll be on that hill making sure they die

“why does that character have to be queer?”

why not?

“why does that character have to be trans?”

why not?

“why does that character have to be a poc?”

why not?

this post is making straight cis white ppl angry keep reblogging it

Another good response along with “Why not?” - “As opposed to?”

Just watch them try not to say ‘normal’, JUST WATCH THEM.

Thinking about Loki in Avengers 1 coming through the portal kneeling.

Thinking about 2014 Gamora in Endgame, when Thanos touches her hair and she drops into a kneel to get out of reach.

Thinking about how much I hate Thanos and can’t stand the fact that people on Instagram and YouTube still comment things like “Thanos was right” and “He must’ve really loved her or the soul stone thing wouldn’t’ve worked.”

Your daily reminder that I will never accept TR, IW and Loki show as canon not only because of retcon of the original storyline, but also because all of them completely ignored THIS:

Also: cryokinesis and levitating were unfortunately never shown on-screen, and the most of his powers were shown for a few seconds and usually is just made fun of in TR and LS.

(And he is literally a genius. Not only in magic but in ANY KIND OF TECHNOLOGY. And they just forgot about it)

As Trans day of visibility winds down, I'd like to make mention that this is a trans-friendly space. All year round, all the time.

I do not support anti-trans ideologies or anti-trans people in the slightest, including and especially that of a certain radfem writer who got her foothold in fantasy whom I shall not name. I support trans people, including those outside the binary.

Your gender identity is valid, your experiences as a trans person are valid, your pronouns are valid, and even though there are a lot of awful things trans people are having to deal with right now, I support each and every one of you.

Trans MTF, Trans FTM, Nonbinary, Genderfluid, Xenogender, whatever your identity, it's valid.

Trans kings, queens, and monarchs of Tumblr, even in the face of all the bullshit you have to go through, I hope you all keep your chin up, don't let your crowns fall.

(PS: If you're anti-trans/anti-nonbinary and you're following me, unfollow right now. Block me if you must, I genuinely don't care.)

Mewtwo & Loki Moodboard

Since I realized these two characters have a lot in common, actually.

(All images, aside from the one on the top right are from google/stock images. The top right one is from Thor: Dark World, and the bottom left is a photo of a sculpture in a Pokemon center in japan.)

I reserve the right to headcanon that marijuana isn't that uncommon in Asgard and nobody can take that away from me. (I also feel like they'd be more partial to eating or drinking it rather than smoking it, but that's just me.)

I mean, with how liberal they seem to be with alcohol, I genuinely don't see how they wouldn't at least try other substances.

Not like that would necessarily even be a result of mortal influence from their visits to Midgard, either. They'd probably discover that kind of thing and enjoy it just on their own merit.

Zootopia spoilers, I guess:

When I watched Zootopia the first time, I honestly thought it was going in the direction of the savages being animals who contracted rabies. Especially after seeing the scene with Manchas, I thought: 'Oh, Emmit scratched him, and because of that, he contracted rabies from him.'

...So, what I'm saying is: The actual plot of the movie was disappointing, tbh.

People assuming the predators were going savage only to figure out it's not the predators at all, but a virus that makes you super aggressive and violent? That just sounds interesting. Discounting entirely the sucky 'twist villain' thing. Making the movie have no real villain other than the discovery of a crazed viral outbreak?

...Maybe that's just the zombie fanatic in me talking, but I honestly think that would've made for a way more interesting movie.

Most people for some reason immediately assume that if I'm a 'fan of Loki' that automatically means I must be attracted to/am a fan of Tom Hiddleston.

And like... *Didn't know who Tom Hiddleston was until I looked up Loki's actor.* *Doesn't keep up with anything he's doing, including roles he's been in.* *Doesn't know jack shit about Hiddleston's career or anything about him.* *Likes not just MCU Loki, but also the ones from other cartoons, comics, video games, etc to the exact same extent.* *Legit forgets who Tom Hiddleston even is sometimes.* *Was one of the people who hated the fan-service scenes in the 'Loki show'.*

So Like... I guess you can say the only reason I like Loki or am attracted to them is because of Tom Hiddleston but... I mean, just because you say something doesn't mean it's true.

True story, btw, Someone brought him up and I was like: "...The guy who plays Spiderman?" They laughed at me when I said that and I was so confused, lmao.

I think it's kind of sad that I can't bring myself to care about new stuff in the MCU anymore.

It's not about superhero-fatigue or whatever other things people are suggesting may be the cause, though. I feel like the reason I and many other people are starting to overlook new stuff and not care is because the people making those movies and stuff basically just... stopped caring about it themselves.

They stopped really putting effort into it, and it shows. There are a couple of outliers, like Moon Knight, but for every Moon Knight that comes out, there are three Loki series, or Mobius movies. Y'know?

It's become less and less rewarding and less and less fun to watch. Just cash-grabs, rather than actual stories with substance.

And I feel like this is easy to notice when you think about how Invincible and The Boys is super popular despite the idea of 'Superhero fatigue'. The difference between DC/Marvel and The Boys/Invincible? (Besides the violence, obviously.) is that 'The Boys' and 'Invincible' actually have time, effort, and love put into them. While the DCEU and the MCU are both basically being milked to death by the same people who tried to copyright 'Día de los Muertos' after they made the movie Coco.

...But hey, at least we still have the MCU before Ragnarok (+Black Panther) to enjoy, right? We also have all the animated DC and Marvel content, as well as all the comics.
