THAT scene was not heartbreaking because of miscommunication

I’ve seen a lot of posts lamenting that Crowley and Aziraphale just needed to TALK to each other. That if they hadn’t been speaking past each other in that S2E6 ending, it would have been okay. That they have major MISCOMMUNICATION issues.

And that’s bullshit.

(No, I’m being inflammatory. Miscommunication is part of it, but not the meat of it.)

The crux of that conflict was NOT miscommunication. Rather, the heartbreak came from Aziraphale’s fundamental misunderstanding of Crowley. Let me elaborate.

If Anathema and Newt hadn't burned the other prophecies they would have found one that went something like "When that the Angel and Demon speaketh of an Us, like Two that came before and thus ran to the starres, their wordes shall cross the starres of their own fates, a nightingale shall close its solemn beak, and all ye who watch shall utter 'What Thee Fuck, You Are Both Bloody Idiots'."

Favourite/Funniest Line's from Crooked Kingdom

Let me tell you something.

I don’t know why but I genuinely love Mairuma and everything about it. Yes, I’m obsessed with them, especially with Purson Soi but it is not like other characters I’m obsessed with to the point I-- I se*ualized them like Trafalgar Law of One Piece. Where I create scenarios with him in a dirty way and read AU like Trafalgar x Reader. But in Mairuma? This obsession is different because I love them without se*ualizing them. It’s just pure and genuine adoration. I want to read fanart where it’s just a funny conversation like how they talk and react in the manga. I imagine a scenario with them but as their classmates and part of Misfits Class. I love them for real to the point I re-read my favorite chapters and watched my favorite episodes of them. I don’t know, this feeling is different from my other favorite anime and characters. And no, Mairuma is not my home nor my all-time favorite anime but Mairuma holds a special place in my heart. And I love them the way they are.

Oh! I forgot to include. I don't ship everyone to one another because I don't see them as a couple so yeah. All I can see is friends and family's love to one another.
