i remembered the birthday boy episode of family ties in which alex turns 18. this episode aired on january 5th, 1984 and (assuming that is on alex's birthday) that would make his birthday 1/5/1966, making him a capricorn. i decided to pick a birth time that would make him a gemini rising to still fit with my initial theory and long story short here is his chart:
