Meeting Pentatonix last night was a dream come true, seeing them right in front of me was honestly so surreal. They’re the loveliest/nicest/sweetest people ever. During soundcheck one of the questions someone asked was if they liked vegemite, they all answered no but then admitted they’d had a dollop of it on a spoon straight out of the jar, everyone in the room was just like no, no, no that’s not how you eat it, you have to have it with buttered toast and they were all like oh ok we’ll try it again the proper way, it was the funniest thing.

Then during the group photo when it was my turn to have one as I was walking up to them Scott said he liked my shirt (I was wearing the Superfruit faces 2.0 one) and I thanked him and said I liked it too, then I got between him and Mitch and put my arms around them and they put their arms around me and it was just the best feeling in the world.

Next came the autograph signing, when I got up there Kevin was first and he asked me how I was, I said I was good and asked him how he was, he said he was good too, I gave him his letter that I had wrote for him and a gift I had gotten him and he thanked me. Next in line was Mitch, at that point words were failing me and I was having trouble separating the gifts and I was apologising profusely and he was just like it’s ok (he’s just so nice) so I gave him his letter and gift (it was an inflatable crown and he held the box up to his head and said me and I was like exactly). Scott was next and again words refused to come out of my mouth and I was still have trouble with the gifts, he said it was ok and not to worry, so I gave him his letter and gift and he thanked me to which I said you’re welcome. Second to last was Kirstie and I gave her letter and gift to her, when I put the gift in front of her she picked it up and asked what it was, I told her it was a Marauder’s Map wall banner and she thanked me for it. Last but not least was Avi, he asked how I was and I said good, I then gave him his letter and gift, I told him that it was a mug/cup that said sorry they didn’t have your name however you are an supremely awesome person, cause it’s hard to find the name Avi on anything, he thanked me and then I had to rejoin the back of the line.

Now it was time for the private performance, everyone (all ten of us) were led into a back room and when we walked in they were already there and I remember being like oh my god. We walked past them to the chairs that were set out for us, it kinda looked like a setup for a support group meeting and Kevin said it’s like an AA meeting and everyone laughed. When we were all seated they sang Take me home and I could not stop smiling. Then it was selfie time and I started with Kirstie, I went to get my phone out of my pocket and it wasn’t there so I started to panic only to realise it was in my other pocket and Kirstie was like that happens to me all the time and she thanked me for her Harry Potter wall banner again and I said that when I saw it I immediately thought of her. She then took the photo and I asked if I could hug her and she said of course so we hugged. Next was Avi, I asked him if I could hug him and he said yes, I told him that he’s the same age as my older brother and he was like oh cool so I’m basically your older brother and I was like I wish. Mitch was next and I was a little overwhelmed at that point, I finally regained the ability to talk and told him that I loved him and he said I love you too. I then asked him if I could hug him and he said of course, it was amazing I never wanted to let go, I rubbed/squeezed his shoulder and I felt him do the same to mine, then as he was taking the photo he said ok now lets get the best photo ever and I said well you’re in it so and he was just like oh stop it and stuck his tongue out. Scott was next and again I was a little overwhelmed, I told him I loved him and he was like you know what? I love you too. I asked him if I could hug him and he said sure, he had to bend down a bit to hug me, it was amazing, I then gave him my phone to take the picture, instead of holding it straight out in front of us he held it up, when I realised he was taking it from a higher angle I was like oh are we looking up and he took it. Last up was Kevin and I asked him if I could hug him and he said absolutely, he then took the photo, it was all over so fast.

One by one they left the room to get ready for the show, eventually it was just the VIP’s left in the room. We all had a group hug, everyone was just so nice/sweet, during the hug one of them saw my shirt and was like Superfruit shirt! which got a laugh out of all of us. Just like that the VIP experience was over and we had to make our way back out to the foyer for the crowd free merchandise shopping. It was the best experience of my life, I would 100% do it all again, I just love them all so much and meeting them and hugging them was the highlight of my life.
