In the Pokémon universe there are people who refuse to believe Clefairy is a fairy type. You can show them all the evidence in the world and all the research papers proving it was incorrectly labeled a normal type prior to the discovery of the fairy type, but they won’t believe you. They will send out their clefairy into an incoming poison type move, watch it deal double damage, and still say it’s not super effective because when they were in pokéschool they learned that Clefairy is a normal type pokemon

ok fun story time
so about a year ago, someone came into my work and asked if we sold any mr potato head toys. we did, and she told me that they were for the octopus at the local aquarium, because she liked to put the pieces in the holes.
fast forward, i had made plans to go to the local aquarium with a couple friends who were coming into town. i emailed the aquarium and told them that, and asked if i could bring the octopus a new toy. they said yes, she would love a shape sorter.
i went this week, and octopus was sleepin on the day i came but the biologists at the aquarium grabbed my email so they could send me pictures of storm playin w her new toy.
THOSE PICTURES ARRIVED TODAY ENJOY SOME OCTOPUS

2. make head. I made mine by roughly cutting this shape, sewing on the eyes and mouth and sealing the seams about halfway to 3/4 of the way up so that the triangle flaps are loose
if u want this guy to face up i'd put the button eyes further down the split on the bottom ^ there cuz thats the top of the head
3. attach head to body by awkwardly doing a fucked up ladder stitch
et voila.
if you know how to do this better than I, PLEASE do so this beastie is more than a little wretched
know that when I made the head i eyeballed ALL OF IT. drew on the cloth with a fabric pen and let it rip
