TFW you're the weird old teacher with the fucked up shoulder, so you have to bring an ice pack, pain gel, and a massager to school, but it's cool because the massager is in the same shape as your initials. πŸ’―πŸ’―

New Year's Eve dinner for me and habibi. ❀ Beef tenderloin with a mustard sauce and glazed mushrooms, roasted carrots, and mashed potatoes. πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ Here's to a wonderful new year ahead! 😊

Habibi's mom taught me how to make the pastry (warka) for pastilla tonight. I can't wait to try it once we get back to Abu Dhabi! 😍😍 (at Beni Mellal)

Stopped for a tea break on the road to Marrakech, and we got these adorable mini tea pots with a cup of mint to add ourselves. 😍

Amazing traditional Moroccan breakfast prepared by habibi's family when we arrived in Casablanca. πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Just had a casual but amazing lunch at a little hidden gem of a Korean restaurant. πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

My Thanksgiving plate was Out. Of. Control. 😍 Pictured: turkey with apple cider pan sauce, mashed potatoes, stuffing, buttered corn, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, creamed onion gratin, and one bacon-wrapped date. I'm still in a food coma. 😴😴😴

I think about this idea all the time. It seems really scary at first, like "what amazing things have I already missed out on or might I miss out on in the future?" But I think it's also reassuring in a way, if you're happy with your life as it. Then you know you made good choices, and yeah, maybe you could have made different ones that would have lead to you being a billionaire on your yacht right now, but no need to stress too much about what might have been.

Dinner at dad and Connie's house tonight. Glazed meatloaf (Tradewinds recipe!), cheddar mashed potatoes, and corn-on-the-cob. Because duh. πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
