Quietly and slowly I came out to myself I’m bisexual I whispered during the night surrounded by darkness I changed my tumblr a flurry of pastel blue purple and pink swirled through my theme no that’s not right this supposed equal attraction I feel is rather unequal 99 to 1 I want a girlfriend the softness of her hands the glow of her face her silky hair god, am I gay? No, this doesn’t feel right this label is way to tight like a fresh pair of jeans or an aero shirt circa 2009 this cuts off my circulation and creates suffocation An Ashley Mardell video pops in my sub box THE ABC’s OF LGBT this is perfect all the underrepresented orientations now visible to me Homoflexible experiences mainly same sex attraction except for a few outliers this is it I scream in my head this label is me it fits like my favorite sweatpants comfy and warm a loose t shirt and a mug of tea now the hard part telling other people of my flexibility

me on coming to terms with myself (via wordsinsideandout)

Now everyone on Tumblr has access to a tiny gif of Maui dancing back and forth while slapping his pecs. I feel like I’ve created something stupid yet wonderful, so…

what can I say

These are all the same size on mobile, the quality just goes down exponentially which somehow makes it even better.

It’s okay if you’re still in the closet. Don’t force yourself to come out if it’s not safe or you don’t feel comfortable doing it. Do it at your own time and when you’re feeling most calm. Until then, love yourself and have pride in who you are. 🏳️‍🌈
