Speed paintings based on Midnight Mass frames that I love. Mike Flanagan sure knows how to add beauty to a horror story.

I guess you could say I'm obsessed with Midnight Mass. Did a 30 minute speedpainting cause I really loved the vibe of this scene.

I started watching Midnight Mass and it's SO GOOD! Had to paint some fanart ❤️

I think this was my favorite GISH item this year: a collage of Misha's brain.

Mazikeen in black, white and red. Let's call this an experiment in acrylics 😁 I just wanted to have some fun with paint, without worrying too much about the results. Next time I will definitely prep the cardboard before painting (to prevent warping and to prevent the board from absorbing the paint). Cardboard is a cheap canvas, but it's not easy to preserve. So I guess it's a good low-pressure way to practice painting.

Painted a mermaid in soft colors. I wanted to make her look soft, with almost translucent skin, but with a little bit of an eerie edge.
