Gotta make money somehow
The older this gets the funnier it is
Barbie is ageless and unknowable. She exists beyond our feeble mortal conception of time. She always was, and she will always be.
Just a few unpopular opinions:
-BLM is racist
-White people are not privileged
-Men are not privileged
-There are 2 genders
-Misandry does exist
-You can be racist towards white people
Just talking about the race parts.
Yeah racism goes both ways and before you say "Racism can only happen towards POC because white people benefit."
BRUH anyone can benefit off of anyone by spreading around that they're a racist bigot. Like do you know how many people will support you because they think you're too sensitive to handle hate alone? Or how many people will blacklist that person being labeled racist?? Racist carries weight and if you don't understand that you're either ignorant or remorseless.
Do you know how many black students whether that be Haitian Nigerian or African American were in top honors and above classes in my school? A fucking lot and we didn't even have that many I think it was 14% in a school of 2500. I saw a lot more white students in lower level classes. Maybe that's due to race pop. in the school if you want to blame something but no one had privilege.
You either worked your ass off to reap the benefits or you accepted you didn't work hard enough. Race was never an issue for anything in my school no one fucking took you skin into account on whether you should get a scholarship they took in your work ethic your passion and of course the connections you made. Some poc girl got basically her first 3 years paid for her private college from scholarships.
Anyone born in the USA is so lucky. We have 1st world privilege. Not even that we have American privilege. Some 1st world countries don't even have the 1st amendment or have high restrictions on similar laws. How many immigrants came to the USA for a better life due to more opportunities and now people are saying it's more oppressive it's more racist it's more bigoted. Oh yeah? Try becoming a citizen in another country with a REAL oppressive regime or authority and see if you could even survive 1 week there without getting murdered with the same views shown in the USA
I've met people from Brazil who told me the stories of when they were terrified for their lives because soldiers or even regular people were parading around with assault rifles. Or when my friend was walking down the street and a couple practically harassed her for money for coke (her words). She told me the only reason she had ripped biceps were from defending herself from thugs or groups of boys who wanted to assault and rob her. She said she found Americans were ungrateful for the peace we have day to day. She has to go to an expensive private school for a good education and finds Americans don't know how good they have it. She has to walk to school early in the morning everyday and pay for textbooks out of pocket. The public schools are deplorable where she lives. And this is going off a tangent she has difficulty with genders besides male and female because Portuguese is her first language and her default is to address people by male/female pronouns. And that's okay because she said she'll try her best even if she doesn't understand or even believes in it. She'll address people by their pronouns but it's okay if she doesn't believe in it. She has a right to think whatever.
Men aren't privileged. It's about work ethic. I have never been discriminated against due to my gender being female. Nor have I ever heard stories from women in my life saying the only reason this didn't happen for them is because a man was privileged. Nor did I hear stories about women in my life being terrified for their lives at night. My mother is the bread winner of the house. She worked fucking hard when she was younger. The oldest of 4 daughter's she worked two jobs paying for her own college and her mother's mortgage. She transferred and had to pay for the difference in credits. She paid for her own mother's funeral because her sisters lived off welfare because they never went to college willingly and never got stable career options. My mother grew up poor. Not poor enough to not live in a house but poor enough where everything was shared reused or a hand-me-down. They ate ham and cheese sandwiches everyday for lunch and made leftovers last as long as possible. Her mother lived off welfare to provide for her 4 children. My mother is a nurse and could've been a doctor but didn't want to be one. She makes enough for a good living and is often in leadership roles. Most of my teachers from my whole school career have been strong women (one of which was a nightmare. She made the nicest girl run crying out the room once. I digress.) In my school gender was only important when deciding which sports team you'd be on and even then it wasn't a big hullaboo. I'd say men had it worse in my school. Less likely to be in top classes and good colleges and more likely to have mental illnesses and home troubles.
Men and women have always been equal in my eyes because that is what I was subconsciously taught. And I'm so fucking grateful to have been born in America and if you were too then you should be grateful too even for the little things like freedom of speech.
“Sit on your bed one day and ask yourself: what remarkably stupid things am I doing on a regular basis to absolutely screw up my life?”
— Jordan Peterson
“I think that people come to the conclusion that life is meaningless because that’s a better conclusion to come to than the reverse. Because if life is meaningless, well then, who cares what you do. But if life is meaningful, if what you do really matters, everything you do matters. And that puts a terrible responsibility on people. And I think that people are generally unwilling to bear that.”
— Jordan Peterson on The Necessity of Virtue
The Most Valuable Things Everyone Should Know by Professor Jordan B Peterson
- Tell the truth.
- Do not do things that you hate.
- Act so that you can tell the truth about how you act.
- Pursue what is meaningful, not what is expedient.
- If you have to choose, be the one who does things, instead of the one who is seen to do things.
- Pay attention.
- Assume that the person you are listening to might know something you need to know. Listen to them hard enough so that they will share it with you.
- Plan and work diligently to maintain the romance in your relationships.
- Be careful who you share good news with.
- Be careful who you share bad news with.
- Make at least one thing better every single place you go.
- Imagine who you could be, and then aim single-mindedly at that.
- Do not allow yourself to become arrogant or resentful.
- Try to make one room in your house as beautiful as possible.
- Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else is today.
- Work as hard as you possibly can on at least one thing and see what happens.
- If old memories still make you cry, write them down carefully and completely.
- Maintain your connections with people.
- Do not carelessly denigrate social institutions or artistic achievement.
- Treat yourself as if you were someone that you are responsible for helping.
- Ask someone to do you a small favour, so that he or she can ask you to do one in the future.
- Make friends with people who want the best for you.
- Do not try to rescue someone who does not want to be rescued, and be very careful about rescuing someone who does.
- Nothing well done is insignificant.
- Set your house in perfect order before you criticize the world.
- Dress like the person you want to be.
- Be precise in your speech.
- Stand up straight with your shoulders back.
- Don’t avoid something frightening if it stands in your way – and don’t do unnecessarily dangerous things.
- Do not let your children do anything that makes you dislike them.
- Do not transform your wife into a maid.
- Do not hide unwanted things in the fog.
- Notice that opportunity lurks where responsibility has been abdicated.
- Read something written by someone great.
- Pet a cat when you encounter one on the street.
- Do not bother children when they are skateboarding.
- Don’t let bullies get away with it.
- Write a letter to the government if you see something that needs fixing – and propose a solution.
- Remember that what you do not yet know is more important than what you already know.
- Be grateful in spite of your suffering.

gen z cartoonists rise up... we gotta completely rebuild the animation industry from scratch but with morals this time
hard to believe people still complain about this kind of thing 🧜🏿♀️🌊🥳
I personally don't care who they cast for whatever role but I hate blatant pandering to POC as a POC. It's obvious greed and a money grab (just like live action remakes of the same damn story and with no readable character expressions but that's another topic.)
If a business really wanted to rep then making an original POC character would be better than recycling an old character with the same story to seem hip or modern. POC are not a modern trend we have existed for centuries. I mean come on are we that desperate for rep that we'll take a story with a white character originally and just change their race? How is that progressive? Just make an original damn character! If an originally designed white character was casted with a Puerto Rican or other Hispanic actor I would personally be a little offended. Why couldn't they just design a character instead of doing a quick little rewrite when they wanted to be "progressive"? Are we not deserving of our own character design process? (Yes I understand how much work goes into designing a character but it's been done before businesses will make millions of dollars and they can't pay a character designer to design a POC character?.)
Businesses can be lazy and greedy they'll call anything progressive to make a quick buck off of minorities.
Also I hate the denial of double standards being present.
A white actor is cast for a POC role and there is outrage and "racism" is thrown around. A POC actor cast for a white role is progressive and wonderful and "racism" is thrown at the side who objects.
Double standard.
Businesses/corporations/companies don't care about representation they care about WHATEVER WILL MAKE THEM MONEY. THEY LOVE MONEY MORE THAN ANY PERSON, TOPIC OR PROGRESSIVENESS. MONEY MAKES THEM CONTINUE THEIR BUSINESS WHEREVER IT COMES FROM.
I guess that's the most progressive thing about businesses. They'll take your money no matter your race, class or sexual orientation all money is equal in their eyes.
Don’t give in to hate and negative vibes. Being the nicest and most confident person you can be will shut just about any hater up.
Me: loves to lick the spoon after stirring brownie batter, doesn’t care about Sal Monella, whoever that is
