Kirk is infected with Elaan’s tears, which are like a super love potion that made him fall in love with her. Even though, when Spock talks to him, Kirk listens to his words and acts against her wishes.
Spock himself later explains that Kirk can resist to the tears because “the Enterprise infected the Captain long before”… I don’t know, Spock, “the Enterprise” includes is a lot of things for Kirk, and I think you are a big part of it. :)

the thing is nothing captured more the homosexual happening between spock and kirk than the original series to me. you can make all the edits and compilations of gay shit happening you want but for me it will never have the same effect than watching a whole episode of kirk and spock looking at each other asking themselves when in the day will they have the time to have at least 5 hours for them to have wild nasty homosexual sexual intercourse
