Based on her looks in Side B and In the family flashback which Yugi and Meisa saw in Kismet, the red part of her hair may not have been seen due to the angle of the flashback, as well holding baby Thoth in her arms, alternativly having a slightly different hairstyle at that time 

She and her longest-living daughter, the Nameless Pharaoh, both followed the norm of their era when having their first child by being teenage mothers by modern standards, due to the shorter life-span of that time period

Both Tiamat and Seth’s mother charmed their respective husbands by their beautiful eye colours

Views Yugi as part of the family due to being half of her daughter’s split soul

If Khepri could have black and blonde hair without any red, then he can have a similiar type without the black, though it may look darker depending on lighting and angle. And his younger sister, the Nameless Pharaoh, is not the only one with those extra crazy hair strands sticking out

His purple eye colour is based on the mention on two of the brothers having purple eyes and one being red-eyed in the war camp flashback with their father

He is roughly somewhere in the middle in height between Khepri and Maahes, despite being fifteen years old when he died

Anhur is functionally blind in the Afterlife, due to losing his left eye though the fatal arrow that was shot at him and his right eye took some damage during the battle as well. He uses a walking stick most of the time, even if he do have a very good mental map of the palace grounds after 3 000 years 

He and pre-operation Shizuka would undoubtly agree about how troublesome it is with tripping over things and risk getting injured because you can’t see, and being very annoyed with the whole “disability means helpless” idea from other people

Quite good at playing some musical instruments, because he have trained his hearing and other senses to make up for his blindess. Would likely be able to tell the voices of Yugi and Meisa apart on their speech patterns and their use of words, as well the mention of Meisa having a slightly deeper voice than Yugi

Youko’s ‘idiot husband’ was full of warmth and amusement and Yugi grinned back, noting that she had used ‘when’ not ‘if’.

This nickname from Yugi’s paternal Grandmother Youko Mutou, mentioned to be full of warmth and musement, was saying so much about her and Sugoroku’s relationship, and that she would likely have not been too friendly to Pegasus in Duelist Kingdom for the whole “kidnapping his soul and put his body in a coma”, as well something similiar for Kaiba about Death-T that caused his heart attack

I made her dressed in a kimono, based on the mention of Youko defeating Sugoroku in a game of Go when he stayed at her family mansion, which suggest that she was not from a working class background

Her brown eye color is meant to be a different, lighter shade than Amane’s, based on the DM anime

If Khepri is the shortest brother, then Maahes is the tallest sibling of them all by taking after Akhenamkhanen in height, standing at about 175 cm in height despite being 16 ½ years old at his death

The idea behind his braided hairstyle, is that he is a sporty type of person, and especially enjoys swimming, knowing the importance of keeping his hair out of the face

He is the gentle giant among his siblings, as often proved by how he may carry his siblings around, either out of necessity or it is just plain faster that way. (Recalling Honda carrying both Mokuba’s soul-less body and the unconscious Ryo back to Anzu and Katsuya in the Duelist Kingdom part in the anime? That is how he may carry his brothers, his sisters is carried on his shoulders instead due to their size difference)

He and Khepri often crafts roleplay-like miniature figures for Anhur, to help their blind brother use his sense of touch though his hands get a mental image of how Yugi, the Gang and other persons in the modern world looks like.

Dear Fanfic writers,

You don’t have to be the best writer, to write someone’s favorite story. You don’t have to be the best writer to tell a good story. And you don’t have to be the best writer to leave a lasting impression on your readers.

Some people have very technical writing styles, some very clinical, some very wordy, and some very poetic.

Both Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings tell an epic fantasy story, but each one is going to hit their readers differently. Leave their readers with a different emotional impact, and treat their readers to a vastly different writing and story telling style.

You could argue all day about which one is superior or better written. But at the end of the day, none of that matters, because someone’s favorite is not about the superior writing, but about the story and how it touched the reader. Some people needed a Harry Potter, and some people needed a Lord of the Rings.

Just like some people needed a Brahm Stoker’s Dracula, and some people needed a Twilight.

And when it boils down to fanfiction, you might not be the biggest fish in the fandom, but some people may need your Epic 250k Enemies to Lovers slowburn OR maybe they just need your self indulgent Coffee Shop AU.

Someone might need that Angst you wrote at 1am after a stressful event in your life. And someone might need that crack fluff fic you wrote on a whim because they needed a smile.

So if you’re a writer, please don’t give up.

If canon!Atem could look badass in the Millenium World with jewelry and everything else to make him seem different from his “present” self as Yami and Yugi, so can Khepri also have some nice jewelry

The flashback of the teenage brothers with their father in Kismet mentions two of them having purple eyes and one being red-eyed, so he is one of the children with Tiamat’s eyes 

Ironically despite being the oldest, happens to be the shortest in height of his siblings outside Amunet and Nephthys who died at a mucn younger age, by sharing the same height as canon!Atem

Ideas inspired from gift-fic “we will always be there for you, even if you do not remember: 

Have a permanent limb on the right foot in the Afterlife, due to dying from a infection as his ankle was broken after he fell off his horse in a battle during the war. Walks with a cane for support of his balance and have trained himself to use it as a defence weapon

Has a Anicent Egyptian version of a “dartboard of hate” in his chambers, with the image of Shadi as the target, due to Shadi’s history of causing several of Yugi’s past lives to die 

Very good aim at tossing things, and would very much like to see how Yugi’s and Meisa’s enemies would keep demeaning them after getting a Kuriboh tossed to their faces so there is a explosion up in said face
