No, you shouldn't have to come out as gay to sing about getting your bussy clapped by a hot guy.
I'm so tired of people saying someone like Dixon Dallas is "queer baiting."
He's allowed to make gay ass country songs about bussies and booty cheeks and having loving sex with good looking guys!!! He doesn't have to be gay or bi or queer!!! As far as I'm concerned, if he's singing about gay sex, he's alright.
You don't have to be gay to write about having gay sex!!! Shut up!!!
Maybe he doesn't want to come out, maybe he isn't gay, but it doesn't matter regardless.
What matters is the fact that his songs slap and they piss of conservatives because of how unashamedly country they are while also being so unabashedly gay.
I have never heard a country song so fucking gay, and it's honestly hilarious and also great.
So sick of people accusing real life people of queer baiting.
You don't get to force other people to come out, and you also shouldn't be harassing "straight" people who make music about gay sex.
The fuck?
You gonna kill hozier next?
Christ.
Gay women are allowed to do whatever
“she blew up a planet” okay and? your homophobia is showing
Lesbians can’t blow up the planet, that’s evil. No MATTER their sexual orientation.
No it’s fine
another great post sent directly from god
Official graveyard post. +Bonus
You heard it here, folks: God is dead. And they’re buried in my graveyard
“if no art makes you feel anything, make your own art and feel something” is too raw of a line to have come from a jenna marbles video of her painting a rainbow/polka dot seahorse saying “it’s seahorse time” on a denim jacket
Why do you people feel profound thought has to come from high places? The gutter looks at the stars too
not only did you prove your point, but you showed an example of it in the same sentence
unstained white shoes and an immaculate manicure. they absolutely did not dig for shit
Transcript: It reminds me of the “bike to work” movement. That is also portrayed as white, but in my city more than half of the people on bike are not white. I was once talking to a white activist who was photographic “bike commuters” and had only pictures of white people with the occasional “Black professional” I asked her why she didn’t photograph the delivery people, construction workers etc… id. the Black and [Latine] and Asian people… and she mumbled something about trying to “improve the image of biking” then admitted that she didn’t really see them as part of the “green movement” since they “probably have no choice” - I was so mad I wanted to quit working on the project she and I were collaborating on. So, in the same way when people in a poor neighborhood grow food in their yards… it’s just being poor- but when white people do it they are saving the earth or something.“ -comment left on the Racialious blog post “Sustainable Food and Privilege: Why is Green always White (and Male and Upper-Class) (via meggannn). the same thing when you look at the ~tiny house movement~ versus, say, people living in trailers, or even just renting in apartments or sublet housing

people still watch south park? where was that one really good post that basically decried everything wrong with the show and the creative process from like a year ago again?
Here’s the post.

Why does this have the rhyme and meter and vibe of a Dr Seuss book?

Virga, the phenomenon of rain not reaching the ground. Virga is produced when rain is falling from the base of the cloud but evaporates in dry air before reaching the ground surface.
I'm afraid with the recent death, it's without a doubt that one of our guests here is a vampire. I've narrowed it down between Stacy, who was drinking "red wine" when we got here- Michael, who is goth, or Daniel, who I don't like.
Professor Acula, hand me that notepad
"I also think it's Daniel. Fvack you Daniel."
Obsessed with AO3 writers, who are a particularly fascinating subspecies of homo sapien.
why aren't there more mysteries that take place in nursing homes & retirement communities. i want to watch a group of deranged retirees-cum-amateur-detectives combine their powers of:
and solve crimes. this should be an enormous subgenre.
flattered that my tags passed peer review:
#their sidekick/Watson/pet hacker is a 15 year old grandkid who hangs out with gram gram on the weekends. her only power is that she has above average search engine skills and flexible knees--which is completely sufficient to round out the group's skill set.
#they involve her in heist style operations. on the rare occasion she gets caught housebreaking she explains her grandma locked herself out of the condo and asked for help getting in. then this sweet slightly addled old lady shows up and explains she got the address mixed up, it's so confusing when you're old & all the houses look alike and oh she's so sorry to have caused so much trouble!......and meanwhile the teenager is rolling her eyes bc she's aware gram gram was a highly successful career criminal & con artist for 50 years.
ANYway gimme a 80+-year-old con-artist-turned-amateur-sleuth who loves getting older because people are less suspicious of little old ladies (#this all takes place in florida naturally)
because of the many, many comments, i have now read all of the Thursday Murder Club books. I am pleased to report they are DELIGHTFUL.
if you like charming/stubborn old ladies and grumpy/shy old men who solve (and commit) crimes for fun--here you go!
(this series is also fun and poignant and contains senior citizens embracing modern values & the changing world & and basically living their best lives at 70/80+. and it's great.)
We are normal and can be trusted with large amounts of money
ITS NOT DEMONS GUYS I PROMISE
