Good Omens Fanfiction Ideas
I'm not a writer, but I am very much an ideas person, and I've been very much enjoying reading lots of fluffy, smutty fanfiction lately. So, I present to you some ideas that are free for the taking. Feel free to tag your favorite authors if you think they'd enjoy it, and share links if you use them!

Aziraphale is an elementary school teacher, and Crowley (who works at the zoo) is the guy who brings in the snakes to show the kids
Something set in space, maybe Star Trek style, where Crowley runs the ship gardens (probably hydroponics) and Aziraphale is perhaps the chef? Linguistics specialist? Lots of options here.
They both get hired to work on the same construction/renovation project (to do different things - they either work for different businesses or are self-employed). They get in each others' way. (Possibilities include carpenter, landscaper, electrician, plumber, painter, etc.)
Fluffy slice of life sitcom-style episodes of their lives in the South Downs Cottage
One of them is a ski or snowboard instructor, and the other is learning. Or one is a ski instructor, the other is a snowboard instructor, and they have a rivalry to learn each other's sport.
"No partner required" ballroom dance class
One runs an animal shelter that the other starts volunteering for (maybe they meet at a community fair or something)
Cruise ship employees
Aziraphale runs a small restaurant that started running a booth at the local farmer's market. Crowley is one of the farmers selling produce at said market. Crowley offers a sample, Aziraphale does the moan, you can see where this is going.
Crowley's therapist suggests he try art therapy. He thinks it's stupid, but goes anyways for lack of better ideas. Aziraphale is there (either as the instructor, or maybe as a fellow participant). Might be fun to write in other major characters as participants too.

Drag queen story hour - probably with Aziraphale as a librarian and Crowley as a drag queen. Maybe Crowley invites Aziraphale to see one of his evening performances.
Any sort of scenario where they meet at Pride. Not nearly enough Pride fics. I could totally see Aziraphale handing out water to people marching in the parade. Maybe Crowley has a booth selling plants. Aziraphale as a recently out pastor marching with his open and affirming church? Perhaps one of them is working Pride as a paramedic and comes to the other's rescue? Maggie and Nina drag Aziraphale to his first pride, and it's sensory overload until he sees *Crowley*
One of them is a master tailor. The other needs a lot of new outfits for some reason or another.
Farmer and farm supply store owner/employee
They run different parts of the natural history museum
One of them is a photographer, the other is a journalist, and they get paired up on an assignment (big "there was only one bed" potential here)
They work in different industries that serve formal events (weddings, proms, etc.) and run into each other often as a result. (Think caterer, florist, photographer, baker, event coordinator, etc.)
Crowley is a grad student doing some sort of study on the ducks in St. James Park. He catches Aziraphale's eye. Aziraphale is unwittingly messing up his study by feeding the ducks to have an excuse to be there to ogle Crowley.
Aziraphale works at/owns the auto parts store while Crowley is restoring the Bentley.
Nina and Maggie drag Aziraphale to a pole dancing class. Crowley is the instructor.
Nina and Maggie drag Crowley to yoga. Aziraphale is the instructor.
Aziraphale is a baker. Crowley is a stripper. They both get hired for an extravagant hen do (maybe Anathema's). Aziraphale has to make the cake that Crowley will pop out of.
They meet playing an MMO. I could absolutely see Aziraphale playing a healer and Crowley playing some sort of rogue class. Maybe Aziraphale is a newbie (possibly dragged in by a friend or younger relative), and Crowley finds him struggling and saves him. "I'm not nice..."
D&D campaign at the local game shop or library or LGBTQ+ community center. Maybe hosted at Give Me Coffee or Give Me Death? There are a LOT of ways this could go. One of them could be the DM, perhaps they were dragged along by a friend, lots of possibilities here!
Someone starts up a Whickber Street Pride Association. They've always admired each other from afar, but with June fast approaching, they have an opportunity to work closely together as festivities are planned. Unexpected media attention and aggressive attempts at corporate sponsorship could provide conflict.
Aziraphale (or maybe a business owner next door or across the street) hires a local artist to paint a large mural. Crowley is the artist.
Crowley, working for whatever the British equivalent of the EPA is, is going door to door to spread awareness about invasive species and how to safely remove them. He's only supposed to be having a quick chat and handing out pamphlets, but when this gorgeous, fussy blonde looks so concerned, he can't help but offer to take a closer look at the garden out back for some more hands-on education.
Crowley gets a job at the barber shop that Aziraphale frequents, perhaps filling in for his usual barber who's on holiday or some type of leave.
Anything where one or both of them works in a trade. (Electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc.) Definite opportunities for electrician Aziraphale to say "let there be light," and for carpenter Crowley to have been introduced to the trade by a friend of his (Jesus) Life guards. Imagine the fanart that could go with this! They could both be lifeguards working together, one is a lifeguard who saves the other, swim lessons, lots of possible variations. Bartender and waiter? Waiter and line cook/chef? Crowley works for Geek Squad or something while Aziraphale struggles to adopt new technology (and then pretends to struggle to see the cute geek gentleman again) Crowley works at Spirit Halloween. Aziraphale goes in (maybe with a friend) to get things for a Halloween party or something. Theme park employees? I can see one of them being a mechanic for the rides and the other maybe being a manager or something. Aziraphale notices a shady character lurking around the neighborhood. What's he doing? Tampering? Vandalizing? Casing the place? It's Crowley, and he's seedbombing with native wildflower seeds, not that he'll willingly admit that.
Parade meet-cute: Crowley plays bagpipes, maybe is a firefighter? Aziraphale plays fife/drums or is the grand marshal in the parade.
Please, more Hallmark-style Christmas stories! I can totally see Crowley running a Christmas tree farm.
For that matter, Crowley running any kind of farm. Pumpkin patch, apple orchard, pick your own berries, corn maze, lots of opportunities for an angel to visit. (Teacher on a field trip, haunted hayride actor, regular customer, seasonal employee because he's a professor on break, hired to fix/renovate something on the farm, veterinarian, etc.)
Veterinarian/pet owner. Perhaps one of them inherited their late Grandma Agnes' snake, kid convinced them to adopt a puppy, teacher who lost a bet with students and acquired a class pet, adopted a stray, had a pet already but moved into the other's town and needed a new vet, etc.
Firefighter Crowley and EMT/Paramedic Aziraphale? That has to have been done already, right? Or maybe dispatcher Aziraphale, and Crowley falls in love with his gorgeous, calming voice (and occasional bastard snark).
It's Valentine's Day and Crowley is a florist. Aziraphale comes in to buy an elaborate bouquet. For a special someone? No, he's single, but he deserves flowers dammit, so he's buying them for himself. Perhaps he'll even make it a weekly thing. Having fresh flowers in the bookshop is nice after all, nothing to do with the gorgeous florist, nooo..... Eventually he notices an odd flower hidden in the bouquet. A different one the next week, and the next. The hidden flowers have some very pointed meanings.
Meteorologist Crowley and local news anchor Aziraphale. Crowley loves to try to get Aziraphale flustered while on the air. Aziraphale is just trying to do his job and really Crowley did you have to stand sideways so that storm system on the radar sticks out from hip height like that??
