Episode 2 of Be My Favorite not only lays out the time travel mechanic, but brings Kawi's character into sharper view. Fundamentally I think what we're seeing is someone who desperately wants to be taken care of. He wants someone to pet him and spoil him and lovingly buffet him out of his moodiness: the problem is he's A Guy, and guys aren't supposed to want that. He knows he's supposed to want a girlfriend and he DOES want to be loved, so he fixates on Pearmai because she's kind to him. He obsesses about his gift to her because he's supposed to be a provider. Every interaction he has with or about Pearmai is about the role he's supposed to be filling, and his gnawing awareness that he can't measure up to it. (He doesn't want to, but "can't" is easier to accept.)

Meanwhile here's Pisaeng, tall and handsome and extremely ready to take care of Kawi if Kawi will just pull the blanket off his head and let him. And Kawi's responding to it. For a guy with an inferiority complex about money, he's awfully quick to start demanding Pisaeng spoil him. If the competition for Pearmai's affection were at all real in his heart, buying her a gift with Pisaeng's money would be the last thing he'd do. Instead, already, the pretext of trying to win Pearmai is a means to let himself get closer to Pisaeng and let Pisaeng look after him.

I hope the show continues to lean on this dynamic because it's delicious to me.

Barcodes are scannable. I occasionally have to do this for clients at work, and no, I do not work for Amazon, FedEx or UPS or anything like that. At the very least, barcodes contain your home (shipping) address. Do not post images that show a straight on picture of a barcode - the picture of the barcode may or may not be scannable, by people who may or may not work for the company you ordered from.

And absolutely positively do not post pictures containing a tracking number! You don’t even need a barcode reader to decode that information.

And license plates. DO NOT POST photos of your car where your license or registration sticker are visible! This goes for friends' vehicles that might show up in your photos too. Don't post photos where your street number or house/apartment building number are visible and turn off geotagging/ location tagging for photos on your phone. The Internet Elders warn you about these things for really good reasons.

Nobody said Team isn't jealous. Team is 100% jealous. He thinks Win is a fuck boy. We weren't even saying that Win can't be jealous. He wants all of Team's attention. Win is a lot of things and has played into a lot of assumptions about the kind of person he is because it's easy, he just goes with the flow. He never stops Team from hanging out with Pharm. He never pulls Team away from his friends, be it the ABC gang or the stoplight trio. Win wants Team's attention and he wants it all the time.

So let me break down the scenes you included:

In the locker room, Win is asking about where the Leum Kluen came from because he can tell Team is excited and he already knows Team's love language is food. He asks for more information as a way to make Team open up to him about any part of his life.

In front of the charter bus, Win is verifying that this Pharm is the same one that Team is talking about and that he's the one that makes Team the food he's always eating. He's proving that he's paying attention and that he's invested. "But wait day," you might be thinking to yourself, "whenever Pharm goes to deliver the food bag to Dean, Win pulls Team into the bus away from Pharm. See it proves he's jealous!" Well you would be wrong. See Pharm is shy and Dean shares a look with Win before he turns to look at Pharm again. Win takes that as his cue to get Team tf outta there so that Dean can have his moment with the cute boy that cooks well. That's just bro code in action.

"Okay, but what about at the table where Win pulls Team away when he's teasing Pharm?" ANOTHER BRO CODE MOMENT! See, in a blink and you'll miss it moment, Win and Dean share a look as Team teases Pharm. Dean has been trying to get Pharm to recognize that he's allowed to like Dean and be affectionate with him. While it's cute that Team is teasing Pharm, and the soft smile on Dean and Win's face prove they think so, he's also making him clam up, the opposite of Dean wants. Enter BFF Win who is there to save the day.

"But none of that explains the way Win pulls Team away from Pharm's room while they're on that trip." Oh you sweet summer child. So let's play a game of imagination shall we? Imagine that your best friend is dating the captain of the swim team, a team you're on, and that the team is taking a relaxing trip to celebrate the end of the season. The captain uses his position to bring your best friend on the trip and it becomes a sweet little getaway that almost feels like a lovers trip for the two of them. Now keep imagining that you, as the best friend on the swim team knowing that your best friend is very shy and timid and dating the captain of the swim team, has just watched your friend and his boyfriend leave the dinner table early and your teammates have gotten you drunk. You are protective and want to make sure your best friend is okay so you stumble your way towards their room and end up half asleep outside their door where they are definitely enjoying the privacy and being romantic with their clothes off. Enter your sometimes lover who is himself the co-captain of the swim team and who knows that even though your drunk self has the right intentions, if you stick around and happen to hear your best friend and his boyfriend getting intimate with each other, is totally going to just break your brain, hauls you up and off back to your room where you will be safe from hearing them get very intimately acquainted. Does that sound like jealously to you?

Now there are plenty of other times that Win watches Team and Pharm interact with fond amusement, the morning after Team gets drunk and ends up outside their room on that trip is one of them. I'd be happy to list them all out for you if you like, but really the moral of the story here is, Win is never jealous of Team and Pharm's friendship. He has no reason to be and nothing he's done has ever hinted at that. Please feel free to come back and ask if you're still confused @respectthepetty. I'm always happy to explain the obvious.

First, let me apologize for thinking a post that argued all the same points I made in my post in the same exact order I argued them was about my post. My error. But Fun Fact: Warren Betty thought Carly's Simon's "You're So Vain", the song you're referencing, was about him, but Simon didn't admit that it was about him until forty years later.

Next, the Taylor Swift reference was really about Taylor Swift's exes not knowing if a song was about them much like this post. I have no clue how you feel about Taylor Swift but guessing by your response, you were not invested in the debacle that was that Ticketmaster pre-sale last week. Again, my error. But out of all of Swift's exes, I was hoping more for a Joe Jonas, so being a John Mayor kind of hurts. I'm going to reflect on that.

Now, I doubt you'll have to tag me in a post or eat your arm off because as we all know from watching these shows, these characters won't openly state they are jealous, and mostly being jealous of a specific person.

But either way, we as the audience see the jealously regardless if the character confesses to it, which is why I see Team teasing Pharm, and Win placing Team in a choke hold because of it an act of jealously.

But you don't. You see it as Win trying to help Pharm. We see this differently, much like all of the other instances you and I have pointed out.

I see Win being jealous of not only Pharm, but most people who are close to Team because I view Win as being jealous of Team's friendly relationships because Team doesn't reach out to or rely on him the way he does his friends, and all of Team's friends are terrified of Win because of it, while you see it as Win being helpful.

*It's moments like this I wish I could create quality GIFs just so we could all witness Team's friends not being able to run away fast enough from Win in bite-size chunks*

I think it's obvious Win is jealous, mostly after seeing how quickly Team ran out of the meeting when he received the call from Pharm and stumbled upon this scene

It's good that you are amused by my responses and enthusiastically ready to explain to me what you see, but the only thing that should be obvious to all of us four responses deep into this is we see Win's behavior differently, so we are all really birdbox-ing our way through this show.

I'm basing it off of what I saw in Until We Meet Again, while you are basing it off of what you saw in that series and what you read in the novel . As we all stated, there are more episodes of this show, so we'll see how it plays out.

Need help surviving this month and escaping this house

I'm honestly extremely anxious writing this and unsure of what to do. This is my previous post here. I had a very serious depressive episode in which I couldn't even get out of bed and it feels like since then things have just spiraled. I haven't made any money from my job the past month because first my depressive episode, and then I have had these really intense panic attacks that have made it difficult to work. I have started a new anti-depressant bc we found out which one is supposed to work from me but it is also giving me more anxiety (temporary side effect) and intense side effect (also temporary) that have added to the difficulty working. Because of that I haven't been able to move out of this horrible house, and I just feel the pressure mounting and making my mental health worse. It doesn't help that I am so behind on my bills, I am low on food and clean drinking water. The biggest thing today is my internet.

I need my internet to be able to do my job. I work from home, I have to be hard-wired in to be able to use my equipment, so I can't use a hotspot from my phone even. I have been pushing myself to work despite my anxiety, though taking frequent downtime if available through work to keep from burning myself out. But I can't work at all without internet. I need at least 180 dollars to pay the past due balance to get it turned back on. I also need help with groceries (out of clean drinking water and food), my phone bill, and keeping my power on. My mom is coming into town to help me do some title stuff with my car so I can sell it, which should help me move within the next week or two. Thank you everyone for your support through all this.
