Can we stop the charade? Can we stop acting like we don’t fill each other’s every thought? I don’t think I can endure another moment of polite smiles and gentle hugs, when all I want to do is pin you down.

something deeply intimate about being outside early in the morning all alone and seeing the world as she is
and for my next trick i will make myself sad on purpose
“Never give up on something you really want. It may be difficult to wait, but it is worse to live with regret.”

Just because someone doesn’t require much, doesn’t mean you give the minimum.
If you write me a letter or note I will literally keep it for the rest of my life.
I find it endlessly fascinating that most humans just want someone who will get up in the middle of the night to close the windows with them when it starts down pouring. We want someone to dry our dishes after we wash them. We just want another person to do mundane activities with. We want to tell someone how the copy machine broke at work and we want to listen to how Debra is causing office drama again. We just want something so simple. We want human connection and honesty and to be bored with someone else instead of bored alone.
i came across this tweet on twitter and wanted to share it here for awareness.
as someone who suffers from anxiety, this all hit too close to home.
