Support your local zoo! The Taipei Zoo is one of my favorite places to go and always on the top of my top rec list of places to see in Taiwan. It's one of the largest zoos in Asia, and the MRT station is right outside of the entrance! And the admission is only NT$60/US$2. Really, this place rocks.
