I had a chance to animate and did the layout of this sequence (my favorite) for this amazing film “Feux” directed and painted frame by frame by @mohammad.babakoohi. Its was even more emotional with the music composed by @pobkf.

A raven shot I animated for Mohammad Babakoohi’s film “FEUX” in la poudrière. Painted by him frame by frame on glass. 

Last year I had a chance to work in a Hong Kong animated short, its fun to animate this cat. Directed by Jay Wong and Donald Kwok.

The idea behind was to make this painting as simple as possible, not over-painted, not over-explained, keeping the roughness of the lines, and pigments as much as possible, at the same time, it has kept the essence of my wife. Waking up in front of Mount fuji, mix media on paper 50x65cm

At the beginning of 2021, I started making this personal piece. At first were just a few images like these two scenes, to memorize and honor my sister. This one is my personal favorite due to the fact that I haven't drawn any Hong Kong landscape for long after all these chaotic days. (The sign on the road is written "SLOW" in Chinese)

2020 was a lockdown, anxious year, plus my son was born. New normality, I dealt with it with an experiment, did not know what would be the end result, hoping one day the dawn will come. Eventually, life took us to another place, even brighter than I thought. It was all alone at first, but then friends and family join in. Together we finish this piece.
