Society places way too much pressure on hitting certain “milestones” by certain ages, so I’m here to remind you that:
It’s okay if you’re not where you “should” be.
It’s okay if you haven’t met your goals yet, or if you don’t even know what those goals are.
It’s okay if the only thing you’re accomplishing right now is surviving.
The “rise and grind” culture is toxic and you are not obligated to participate.
I notice, and I appreciate you, and hope your day is going well.

EXACTLY! this is why that archway in the beginning of the game just pissed me off
Complex concepts like racism, xenophobia, class struggle, or any kind of oppression do not work and won't ever work the same way you understand them in places that don't share the same sociocultural history. To apply your understanding of them to a cultural landscape different than your own without adapting those concepts is to refuse to understand that society.
Read that again. Memorize it. Learn it.
