Let me help some of y'all with reading comprehension:

It's not about one guy. It's about being made aware that using neo-nazi dogwhistles about a Jewish person makes the world a more comfortable place for nazis to fuckin murder the rest of us.

It's okay if you didn't know, it's not your fault, dogwhistles are that way on purpose, to slip by unknowingly. Just knock it off and try not to spread it around yes? Okay.

being autistic is beautiful and then you're afraid of abandonment because your brain has picked up on the exact patterns that signal another loss and then you step outside and there are patterns in the sky in the grass in every touch and every laugh. someone looks at you and there is a shift in their gaze to tell you "i know you're wrong. you are something wrong." something between pity and embarrassment and you want to rip it out of your body for a second and then you listen to music and the euphoria makes it all worth it because they could never experience this joy. you're sky-high. you look in the mirror and your eyes appear inexplicably vacant and then you read about how so many autistic kids are cleverer than everyone else as children and then the opposite afterwards. at a certain age you equalise. you grow sharper teeth and you bite off more than you can chew and you chew it all anyway. there's spring in the air and your brain functions like a scattergraph and when you think about it hard enough it's impossible not to fall in love. if you're an alien you're a lovely one. one day you fall in love and you know it's more intense than it should be but you love her anyway, knowing how it will end. are you invented for grief? are you invented for love, carrying grief?

truthfully being autistic puts a gun full of love to your head. i will always be a little bit more alone than everyone else but the shades of green seperate into a spectrum of feeling and this schematic of an engine is a poem to progress and every song i love is a holy hymn and when your brain is a scattergraph, once you love something, you love everything. you're more alone than everyone else and the least lonely creature on earth, even in isolation.

Yada Yada something something Ultrakill V1 being unable to speak but having its primary facial feature being an eye that at least in fan content is extremely emotive and canonically has really good optics, and in 2-S, Mirage has it being used basically as eyebrows and such contrasted to Gabriel's unmoving helmet and 0 physical emoting but his fucking awesome extremely expressive voice but their obvious paralels of being made for someone elses purpose, Gabriel just acting and being directed as the hand of god and when he messes up having his only connection to meaning painfully ripped out of him, thus needing to continue the violence he was made for or else he dies and V1 being built for war and thus needing to perpetuate the violence to stay alive because of its need for blood as fuel and how they are both just following orders and are doomed to fail and they both have extremely limited time left and I cannot wait for act 3 yada yada something something

Another one of my favourite of my one-shots

Title: Snipers

Pairing: Shakarian

Summary: A sniper sees the battlefield differently than most soldiers. That's only to be expected. It's how things are for snipers. Eventually, you pick up some habits that stay with you even outside of combat. Short one-shot.

Excerpt:

As always when he's not looking, she can't help but stare at the lower right side of his face. It's not pleasant to look at or think about, but it's something that she can't ignore no matter how hard she tries.

The thick scar tissue would feel different to the touch, more rugged and metallic than the smoother surface of his plates. Right now, basked in only the weak light of the neons from across the street, those scars look superficial. Much less serious than the injury behind them actually is. Almost... harmless.

She likes those scars. They're a physical affirmation of all the crap they've been through, a lifeline that holds Garrus tethered to her world. A reminder that despite everything, she had not lost him yet. She's pretty sure he likes them too, in his own way. They make him look dapper. Or that's what he says, at least. There's a lot of stuff he doesn't say, too, even though she knows most of it in her heart.

Right now, in this almost complete darkness, weakly reflecting the pale neon lights, the scars are almost inconsequential. Squinting her eyes, she can pretend that just by moving her fingers on his cheek and mandible, she could brush the scars away as easily as he would brush away hair from her face.

Then she blinks and it's all gone. The scars are still there and there's nothing she can do about it. Garrus has been lucky to come out with just scars, and she tells herself that every damn day, but it doesn't change the way she feels.

Friendly reminder that Queer is approved by 72.9% of the people, and the groups who don’t prefer it’s use as an umbrella term are straight people, exclusionists, transmeds, truscums, sex-negative people, and sex work critical people (x).

Friendly reminder that aros and aces are excluded only 9.2% / 8.1% of the time respectively while being included 78.9% / 81.2% of the time (x)

Friendly reminder that exclusionists are in the minority and aro/ace people are included in the LGBTQ+ community by the people within the community.

Also, i checked out the survey the second claim sources a while back: this is not OP choosing the words truscum, exclusionist, etc. These are labels that the survey gave people the option to self-identify as. It’s self-proclaimed exclusionists who dont like the word queer, not random accusations

Learn our history. You are not immune to TERF propaganda, but you can absolutely choose to educate yourself to spite it.
