November 17th, 1991 - Nirvana’s “Nevermind” is blowing up in the states while Kurt Cobain is interviewed in Italy.

“I have before me Kurt Cobain. And ‘scruffy as usual. He has a beard of at least ten days, and the face is a little worn; hair, long, blonde, And a happy Kurt. The facial expression is relaxed. Every now and then strokes his bottle of bourbon in his right pocket.”
