every so often i remember that we have experienced and continue to experience a series of overlapping crises that exacerbate each other, on a scale not previously seen, while people in power have attempted to minimize and obfuscate those crises. and then i have to go back to sending emails.

Nobody ever asks me how I'd ideally like to die, and I suppose I should say something standard and normal, like in my own bed at the age of 90, surrounded by loved ones, or something like that.
But ideally, I want to succumb to the 15th and finally successful assassination attempt after surviving the previous 14 without a scratch, going down in history as some sort of a semi-superhuman indestructible ghoul that once famously straight-up took a shot of arsenic and then kept on partying.
While really, everyone involved the string of failed murder attempts were a bunch of fucking amateurs who had never killed a man before, and never considered to contemplate whether they might be doing some rookie mistake, like feeding someone the poison and the antidote at the same time.
And for someone to release an absolute banger of a song about you afterwards?
Especially one that goes into zero detail about what I ever actually did in life, but is very clear on how severely I alledgedly fucked.
