Jason Sudeikis and the rest of the Ted Lasso cast at the WGA strike in LA - May 30, 2023.
They have his blessing I'm sure
Ted invented the triangle, as we all know
Love the classic "keeley makes them get their shit together" roy x jamie x keeley fanfic trope
But I must say
All of them being established as equally idiotic and helpless I can absolutely get behind!!!
The thing with Coach Beard’s backstory is, for Ted to get him coaching jobs, Ted would have to fight like a madman.
Beard has a felony record. A lot of places in the US have a box on job applications asking if you’ve ever been convicted of a crime. When Beard says Ted gave him a job and a life, he really means it. This isn’t like Ted hiring him to work in a business he owns, where he can make the rules about whether he can hire someone with a drug possession conviction. Ted had to convince athletic directors and maybe even school boards to overlook an incredibly significant piece of Beard’s history.
This wasn’t an act of kindness. This was a continual practice of kindness. This was something that could have very easily backfired on him, but he did it anyway.
I don't know if I'm going to make much sense with this but the way meeting Jamie's Dad explained so much about him in the sense of how he acts (in s1) but the way meeting Jamie's Mum explains so much about him in the sense of who he is as a person.
Im only 10 minutes into the newest Ted Lasso episode but Jason Sudeikis deserves an Emmy for every single facial expression Ted pulls around his mother. It’s FASCINATING to suddenly find the one person Ted isn’t performative around. You can FEEL the strain, especially after 3 seasons of knowing how Ted acts even around the people he dislikes. And here he has absolutely no filter to his body’s reactions. I’m so into it. Holy shit.
#it’s her!!!
TED LASSO 2.08 “Man City” 3.10 “International Break”
the lasso way: disarming trent with a heartfelt compliment before he can launch into his reporterisms, apparently
Nick Mohammed as Nathan Sheeley in Ted Lasso (3.10)
we as a society do not talk enough about how pretty Nick Mohammed is like….. he was so pretty this episode
Absolute yes to Nate apologizing to Will first.
Will had the least power and Nate was the harshest to him. His apology to Will means more to me than the eventual apology he’ll make to Ted (which we all know is coming).
Also yes to the lavender.
