The Return of the Herb! And if you think even for a moment, that this isn’t really how Oasis markets their herbs... behold!
Oh, you killed one Balrog? That’s cute.

Half a league, Half a league
Half a league onward,
Through the plain of Anfauglith
Rode King Fingolfin.
“My armor is like tenfold shields, my teeth are swords, my claws spears, the shock of my tail a thunderbolt, my wings a hurricane, and my breath death!” ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit “Inside Information”

Caranthir the Dark, fourth son of Fëanor, was known for his temper, but he was called ‘the Dark’ for the color of his hair, not his mood.
He died in 506 F.A. during the Second Kinslaying attacking King Dior of Doriath, the son of Beren and Lúthien, in an attempt to reclaim a silmaril and keep his oath.
When Elf-esteem starts thinking about how wildfires start... 🔥
Bored at home, since my work is closed due to the fires, I’ve been playing on the Internet. Mostly I’m looking for new information on the fires, wind conditions, and road closures. I wondered if anyone knew how these current fires started, and this article popped up. Of course, I had to send it over to a friend right away with the keyword highlighted.
Apparently... dragons...
Thanks, Smaug! Geez... *smh*
You know you’ve read The Silmarillion a little too often when...
you see Melkor (Morgoth) literally Arising in Might from the hills of California...

My state is 🔥 ON FIRE 🔥
It’s very smokey and dangerous outside, but I have to stop and fangirl squee at this image because that looks like how I imagine Morgoth, from his early Vala days...
Maedhros is reunited with his brothers after his imprisonment. Poor Maglor will probably never forgive himself for not coming to his brother’s rescue…

Look at your life. Look at your choices. Examine every single thing you did that came to this point, and then realize that EVEN YOUR DOG THINKS YOU ARE A TERRIBLE PERSON.

“Thrice was Fingolfin with great blows to his knees beaten, thrice he rose still leaping up beneath the cloud aloft to hold star-shining, proud, his stricken shield, his sundered helm, that dark nor might could overwhelm.”

Gil-galad, the last High King of the Noldor. He fell at the end of the Second Age in the Siege of Barad-dûr. Though Sauron was defeated, he perished in the act along with Elendil.
“‘I was herald of Gil-galad and marched with this host. I was at the Battle of Dagorlad before the Black Gate of Mordor, where we had the mastery: for the Spear of Gil-galad and the Sword of Elendil, Aiglos and Narsil, none could withstand. I beheld the last combat on the slopes of Orodruin, where Gil-galad died, and Elendil fell, and Narsil broke beneath him; but Sauron himself was overthrown...’“
(~Elrond - “The Council of Eldrond” The Fellowship of the Ring)
