Any suggestions or tips on getting followers/notes?

Okay I can do my best to help you right now.

1. Create a blog that is appealing to the eyes. Like your theme/layout make it something you would love to look at. Also at the same time other would be inclined to look at as well.

2. The pictures your post or reblog, make sure they are all common or are related to a certain idea. For example I post hipster items and anything relations to that. You can be very precise like, cats or outdoors to something very wide. For example photography

3. After you pick your theme make sure it is something you like. When you come on to tumblr to tumble, you enjoy it. Not more of a punishment, because when it is like at people fall in love with you like you have with the stuff you post.

4. Stay as active as possible. If you have a free moment, post something or show that you are on.

5. As you gain followers try talking to them and connect to them, show that you care for then. I try answering every single question that I get either by posting privately or openly

6. Ask popular blogs to check you out. And follow you. Due to reblogs by popular blogs you will get seen and then from there it’s easy to get your name out there

7. Be patient. Followers do come, it may come slowly but once people notice you they will start gaining easier
