Jason had made a new friend. He had dicussed Jane Austen's work with a stranger online, and they had hit it off. Sure, Lancer was a bit older, but with his issues with Bruce, Jason didn't mind having someone older to ask advice from.
They had chatted about their favourite books, played a game called Doomed together and later talked about the rest of their lives. Jason was suprised some town in Illinois had so many rogue attacks. Luckily Lancer had insisted that their hero Phantom had things handled. When Jason had told him about his family issues, the man had always given him advice or at least a listening ear. Jason suspected he was a good teacher, with those qualities. Lancer wasn't so sure. He kept failling one of his students. Lancer didn't know if it was his home situation or if the stress of the attacks was too much, but this 'Danny' kept slipping and Lancer had no idea how he could help. Even though both Jason and Lancer sought eachothers advice, neither asked to visit the other, feeling like it would be a breach of privacy their friendship wasn't ready for.
So Jason was very suprised when Lancer asked his help to hide his student Danny from the goverment.
