That is too adorable. You can tell the mother cat actually does trust the dog just by her body language. Typically a mother will watch her kittens closely and be very protective of them, here she completely trusts the dog to play gentle with them. This is just too damn cute.

just here to point out that in lust arc ulquiorra asked ichigo if he got stronger bc he fought grimmjow, for his friends or 'for that/this woman' (orihime), which means he set her apart from 'friends'. then when ichigo didn't reply ulquiorra immediately realizes that it's because of orihime. ulquiorra thought ichihime was a thing, pass it on.
Yeah, Tierney touched on that a bit here, about how Ulquiorra was observant of the bond between Ichigo and Orihime, and how he also learned that he could goad Ichigo into a fight by mentioning Orihime.
He first observed that here, when the only thing he could do to get Ichigo to fight him was mention Orihime—and he received a huge emotional reaction from Ichigo, to boot. And then I’ve always found this particular exchange interesting:
He lists three things that could be responsible for making Ichigo stronger: his fight with Grimmjow, Orihime, or the rest of the nakama. Then he makes eye contact with Ichigo, and even though Ichigo is silent, Ulquiorra seems to find the answer there in his eyes, as he brings up Orihime again—in a sense, ‘confirming’ that she was the correct answer of all the things he listed.At the very least, it’s singling Orihime out and putting the greatest emphasis and protective focus Ichigo has on her, once again (and this won’t be the last time someone remarks that Ichigo is stronger now that Orihime is around—see Ginjou in the FB arc).
After confirming his suspicions about Ichigo and Orihime, Ulquiorra continues to use her as bait to taunt Ichigo.
