For some reason, I started thinking about tattoo headcanons for the TNG and DS9 crews. If they have one, what would they have and where, or would get at some point during the shows?
Picard- got something “tough” in his more rough-and-tumble Academy days, which he got rid of a few years later. No tattoos since.
Geordi- a colorful African flower and crystals design on the back of his shoulder.
Troi- watercolor style Betazed tree on the side of her thigh.
Riker- the names of the ships he served on and the dates, down his side. He gets the first three while on his third ship The Hood, then adds the Enterprise-D.
Julian- the Starfleet Medical symbol on the back of his calf, which he got during the Academy.
Sisko- something related to his family, and African imagery, on his chest, that he got right before leaving for his first Starfleet posting. Something commemorating Jake’s birth near that. Then later, when he embraces being the Emissary, something Bajoran related to commemorate that, on his upper arm.
Jake- I can see him getting a feathered quill and scroll on his inner forearm.
Ezri- A small bird in flight and leaves design across her upper back, which she got soon after she left home.

I love this so much because they were rushing to get into position and Troi is hoping nobody noticed that the book was upsidedown because La Forge couldn't see which side was up ... but they didn't think that someone might question what the blind guy was doing with a book in the first place.
Gotta love the 90s Star Trek makeup when it came to aging characters. While they did a good job with Picard in “The Inner Light” and were good about not overdoing it on the women…
Give them a younger good-looking guy like Sid and Brent, and they go quite overboard with it xD
At least their second go at Noonien Soong was better xD
They didn't always avoid overdoing it with the women. Troi in "Man of the People" was pretty scary.
Granted, she wasn't supposed to have aged well, but it's still a lot.
