everything is shut down near columbia and city college, police buses and cars everywhere and police are barricading the streets near the campuses. a few people were just arrested outside of city college while it seems like some students are still occupying the city college administrative building and still in the encampment. tons of cops near columbia last i heard they arrested everyone occupying the hall and kicked out press, police have barricades set up so no one in the surrounding apartments can get out

nypd about to storm the ccny encampment as of 11:50pm. earlier today police pepper sprayed protesters and press, including an al jazeera reporter. seems like a big group of people are still inside preparing for the raid

it's so funny that he admits this movie sucked total ass.. it was so bad that me and Isa kept getting progressively more and more drunk off a gigantic XL vodka coke we had created from smuggled liquor & by the time it was over we were so fucked up that we like stumbled into a Benihana that was in the same mall and befriended a group of tourists who were there and I barely remember the night except for these pictures

All the reports coming from Rafah from the early hours of April 29 are literally identical: "Israel targeted the house of [family name]"

The same title, over and over again.

All within a couple of hours last night, three family homes in Rafah have been struck, killing at least 20, the majority of whom are women and children.

We now know about Project Lavender and we know about Israel's constant surveillance of Gaza so when I tell you that Israel had targeted civilian homes last night in Rafah, you know that there is absolutely no room for questioning Israel's intent here and always.

A bit unrelated but I've worked at call centers and I find it funny that there are usamericans that don't seem to know or understand what it means that many companies outsource customer service to "the global south". Assuming I earn in dollars or that I'm in new york or something. Europeans can be very entitled as well from what I hear from my boyfriend who works at a cruise ship and earns in dollars but is exploited so badly. Why can't people behave.

Omg yeah I bet...people are so awful to people at call centers just generally, also definitely don't seem to understand what outsourcing is & how much power the people working call centers actually have...which is very little LOL. Why can't people behave indeed!

One of my more strongly held opinions is that no matter your reasoning for do it, unless you personally have beef with the specific customer service person you're speaking to, nothing makes you look stupider than having a customer service convo with a company and posting it on social media to prove a point. Like if you're using it as a stand-in for that company's entire corporate leadership...you are stupid. Doesn't matter how justified the issue is. All it does is make it clear you don't know how customer service chats work LMFAO

here are some process shots LOL…painted the the kitchen ones a french blue & affixed them in on the front using the machine screws pictured (i pre drilled the holes) & then the other set I stained, sealed, and drilled in from the back with much smaller drywall screws. Yaaaay
