They/them pronouns please I changed my mind, learning disabilities are fun 20

Okay, but these actresses do not get enough credit for their double roles. They played absolute opposites and nailed it. They really made those two characters different to the point that I didn't even notice at first that two of them were returning.

Sister Mary Loquacious: Giddy ditz

Nina: Bitter nihilist who doesn't believe in love

Sister Theresa Garrulous: Practical Satanist who puts up with Sister Mary's shit like everybody else

Maggie: Absolute ray of sunshine who's hopelessly in love with Nina

Madam Tracy: Sex worker/medium who's got a thing for a guy who hates her and is a lovely woman who believes in good

Shax: Power hungry agent of evil (and a changed up voice to really distinguish the character from Tracy!)

aziraphale's "i forgive you" was like i forgive you for yelling at me and refusing to come with me even though i begged you and told you that i needed you. i forgive you for kissing me angrily. even though. i. literally. planned a fucking ball

crowley: no way in heaven am i going back to heaven!

aziraphale: that's not what you're supposed to say, crowley! you're supposed to say "my hell is wherever you are, angel"

Okay now that I'm getting over how much that season diverged from the original story, how horrifically OOC it was and how it was all around just really shit with no plot I find the entire thing extremely funny and NEED a season 3.

I mean he really did it. He really made it some Big Gay Drama straight outta subpar fic.

I may be a disgruntled book fan but I am also gay and had to live through all of Neil's anti-A/C comments for almost TWENTY YEARS so this is objectively a very funny turn of events and, in that respect, I am now on board.

If I don't now get tears and yelling and a Sheen/Tennant makeout scene I'm calling the fucking cops. GO BIG OR GO HOME.

When Crowley and Aziraphale get their tender romantic kiss, I want them both to be crying. Like a big relief “weight off their shoulders” kind of crying. I want it to be so mushy. I want them to warble how much they love each other.

I love the idea that, as a snake, Crowley gets cold easily and so, like, he enjoys being close to Azirphale who is all warm and soft light. And even going to far as to turn into an actual snake and just cudle down in of Aziraphale's many pockets to just soak it in while he bustled around the bookshop/town.

In The Book, we always give the spotlight to the lines,

"'Can we get on?' said Crowley. 'Goodnight, miss. Get in, angel.' Ah. Well, that explained it. She had been perfectly safe after all."

But I think we miss out on the follow up to that line, a few pages later:

"[The book] was probably in the back of a car belonging to two consenting cycle repairmen."

ive only ever used someone as a beta like twice in my life. but now ive got 15k + entire cohesive plot outline for good omens and im hmm'ing at it immensely

I guess I've learned I'm kind of an outlier of the book good omens fans who predate the shows conception that thought Crowley was likely a powerful angel before he fell and was just kind of self hating. I'm seeing a ton of people talk about how upset they are that Crowley isn't just some random guy now in the show and I'm like "wait we didn't all just think he was hating on himself in the book???"

I know im not the only one because my ff bookmarks from years ago proves I'm not completely alone but apparently it's a rather uncommon opinion LOL.
