Disabled people deserve to not live in poverty. Disabled people deserve to receive assistance from their government. Period.

Everyone is rightfully offended by the government offering 600$ checks. That's what disabled people are expected to live on monthly. SSI maxes out at 771$ a month for disabled people. If they get more than 2000$ in their bank account or get married, they lose their income and their insurance.

You should be offended by 600$ but you should also be offended by disabled people being forced to live in poverty on the same amount.
