absolutely OBSESSED with alvaโs face when she sees aloy for the first time and apparently flinches back. sincerely fascinated with the fact that when replaying or rewatching the scene, you can see her recognize aloy as elisabet sobeck even though she says nothing about it until the very end of the demeter questline. going totally buckwild over how she introduces herself like sheโs expecting aloy to know what the fuck sheโs talking about because aloy is apparently one of the ancestors. thoroughly CRAZED about alva keeping it to herself that she recognizes aloy until it becomes relevant and wondering why. fuck. i love alva so much.ย
Have you seen Kotallo and Alvaโs interactions? Itโs almost immediate sibling energy. He basically went โoops I guess I gained a little sisterโ

Whilst I know Aloy and Beta are of different ages, but I had a headcanon that whenever the two of them are out of the Base; Oseram and then eventually everyone starts calling them the Flame Haired Twins when they're seen together.
At first Aloy hates it, and almost goes into full Big Sister mode and tries to put a stomp on that so it doesn't hurt Beta's feelings. On the contrary, Beta loves it!
Beta is so happy that people recognize her as part of a family, and even more so as Aloy's "sister" not a clone of a dead woman. And upon seeing Beta happy, Aloy is too. It takes the huntress a while but she takes comfort in that people see the two of them as what they always wanted. They may not have had the family they dreamed about, but this family is good, whole and nothing can break them.
