Displacers are cool

@duparoberto

I'm in many fandoms, but I mostly just reblog 2015 Beyonders posts cause the damn trilogy is underrated. This is a minor - friendly account! Anyway have fun :D

Alright, here's the Beyonders poster!

There are a few different versions bc I'm bad at making decisions😅

Some have a black border (I think it frames it kinda nicely), some have extra threads, and some have the title! ^^

I wasn't really sure where I was going with it at first, but I think it came together OK!

It took 12 and a half hours

Some of my favorite details :D

You can see the veins (and skin texture a bit) on the book up close

The hippo was just hard to draw XD but also the blue and gold butterfly

And there's kind of an outline of an eye underneath Nedwin's glove👁

So I've been thinking about reading the Simon Snow trilogy. Could anyone tell me if it's hard to follow? I know fantasies can be complicated but I've read some before. Beyonders, Fablehaven, Dragonwatch, The Fire Within, most Rick Riordan books, The Cruel Prince and more.

Everyone's recommending the series but even reddit couldn't answer my question. It looks so cool and I love trilogies could someone please tell me T-T

UPDATE: Thank you so much everyone! I'm searching for the books right now. Although I have like twelve other unread books on my shelf, I'm sure I'll read them this year. I'm so excited now, God T-T

Webtoon recommendations 😘🥰😍

  1. Silent Screams by Glamist (ongoing, 2023) - I don't want to spoil anything but it's this light thriller and it's soooo good, the official description doesn't describe shit there's way more to it than it seems.

2. The Blind Prince by cozycroww (ongoing, 2023) - fantasy romance, but very easy to understand. Addicting art style, also, lots of birds! 😍😍😍

3. Ghostwriter - Apocryphal by Nor5tar (ongoing, 2024) - fantasy, also easy to follow. So emotional I swear I'm crying at the prologue. Got attatched to the characters even though the series just started.

4. Jackson's Diary by Paola Batalla (ongoing, 2021) - supernatural highschool comedy drama thingy. SEASON THREE!!! WOOOOOH. The fandom is kind of mental and I'm sure you've heard of it at least once. May seem overrated, but it really isn't.

5. Homesick by Ms. Freaky (ongoing, 2021) - another thriller, amazing art style!!! Characters are all special in their own way and easy to obsess with. Kind of heartbreaking as well. Season two ended this year.

6. The D!ckheads by GummyBunni (ongoing, 2023) - highschool lovey dovey romance drama, cute art!!! Kind of cheesy at times but honestly really cool, love the characters.

7. School Bus Graveyard by Red (ongoing, 2021) - thriller, huge plot twists!!! I'm trying not to praise the characters again but it's what I always get attatched to in stories. I'd say it's great for someone who's new into thrillers, nice fandom as well.

I'm too lazy to check if I got all the links right. Also, tw for Silent Screams.

Should I post the Ghostwriter comic on here too? 🤔 I never really thought about it before

I think that's a good idea if you want more people to see it! It's a great comic, really.
