The AI issue is what happens when you raise generation after generation of people to not respect the arts. This is what happens when a person who wants to major in theatre, or English lit, or any other creative major gets the response, "And what are you going to do with that?" or "Good luck getting a job!"

You get tech bros who think it's easy. They don't know the blood, sweat, and tears that go into a creative endeavor because they were taught to completely disregard that kind of labor. They think they can just code it away.

That's (one of the reasons) why we're in this mess.

On a dark and stormy morning, Sept 1 2006, Tiffany's Princess Clover Belle came to Earth along with three brothers. She chose Tiffany early. Her shy, timid personality was perfect for a little extra care from a doting college student. Little did she know that she'd live in five more houses, two more states, share space with 3 other beagles (plus a few fosters), and eventually cows and chickens. Clover's special nose never found a taste for rabbits, but instead learned to detect blood sugar. She became a service animal and sidekick, and her timidity turned to quiet confidence in any setting. Clover beagle turned sixteen this dark and stormy morning, surrounded by her pack and people. She fell asleep, loved and snuggled, to rest forever in our hearts. She was a singular dog, a companion more than a pet, wise beyond her years and a perfect expression of love. Not everyone's lucky enough to have had a Clover in their lives, but those that were will miss her dearly.

What we need to do is convince all the disney adults in america that high speed rail would be a preferable way of getting to disneyworld compared to driving or flying. We could maybe harness their fondness for the monorail or something, but this is a group of people that has time, income, and passion that we could leverage. did an internship recently and got so much positive feedback for my work until one of my supervisors told my manager that while i did the tasks perfectly i was ‘a bit quiet’ … it was my only negative feedback and still it was so demoralising because i felt like i had pushed myself to be way more chatty than i am naturally. STILL i was ‘too quiet’.

not even a customer facing role btw, i had no interaction with the public. it wasn’t a criticism of my work; it was of my personality.
