I forget that I made this and when I do remember it I quiver with fear and wonder what possessed me to be able to draw like this

Saw a youtube comment complaining when folks were talking about Elendira being trans.

And dude was like, "you really had to make everything trans! "

And bro,

she's been trans for the past 20 years. Literally the moment she was introduced. What are you on? COMPLAIN TO NIGHTOW, LIKE THE FUCK WE DID??? 😭

Also like, you're queerphobic and you like Trigun? This manga got all the letters of the lgbtq. You're in the wrong neighborhood bro

So. Do we all agree that Meryl Stryfe is the bravest character in Trigun or what.

You are right and you should say it @xoxo-otome

Thanks 😅

It’s not as apparent in ‘98, but in Trimax and Stampede Meryl gets right in the thick of things, regardless of the fact she is a human and has no supernatural abilities like most of the other main characters.

She takes on responsibilities that most humans would avoid at all costs due to the danger it would put us in. And Meryl is the character that we can relate to the most from a “normal human” perspective, in a situation where the circumstances and other characters are quite inhuman or superhuman. That’s why I see Meryl as Frodo.

I’ll add that I see Milly as Sam, an unassuming, steady, and highly observant coworker (and then friend), that offers support and helps Meryl stay grounded.
