You lose your precious children for five years then, like, a month later are totally chill with packing them off to Europe for a week by themselves.

Not to mention, wouldnt these kids still have PTSD from basically being dead for years and struggling to adjust to changed world? 

They’d need therapy, not a week spent boozing and partying.

Being a snap victim would be just as bad as not being one, in certain ways.

You are waking up to a world that moved on without you. That would be, erm, unsettling for a bunch of teenagers in high school.

Peter might have gotten lucky in that Ned and MJ were victims too. They’re all in the same boat and can feasibly pick up were they left off.
