“I have always been the kid in the background, and now that I have grown up I still kind of am. And I don’t mind that, I don’t need to be in the spotlight. I like the quietness and peace here, it allows me to sit back and observe”

maybe you were a beautiful dream with a pure and innocent heart in love with everything but then you were forced to grow up too quickly and the sharp wound-causing edges of the world severely cut deep into your soul and mind and turned you   into a nightmare.

and i wouldn’t have to go hell because that’s where i’ve lived for as long as i can remember so i understand you i’m also full of sharp edges which cut very deep so i have to be very careful about who i let close to me

and if i were you i would stay away from me although i may be sweet and nice on the surface inside i’m volcanoes and thunderstorms and to me this planet is nothing more than the decapitated head of a god who rebelled against the dark and i’m just a lost wanderer of his lost thoughts trying to distinguish the truth from falsehoods.

but if you can light up my cigarettes i’ll light up your life

Some writing days are surgical and precise. Every move is calculated and executed to perfection. Your paragraphs are crisp, clean and plentiful.

The rest of the time, you’re six years old, everything is written backwards in blunt crayon, you’re squirting way too much glue on the page and slapping irrelevant shit into the book, the pages are stuck together, the house is on fire, you’re screaming–
