STOP MIS-GENDERING PEOPLE! (pls dont delete the caption)

when you mis-gender someone it is extremely degrading and offensive, for people who dont really understand what this means, it is calling someone something other than their pronoun of choice, for example: a trans* boy, who’s preferred pronouns are him/he/his and someone was to call him a “she”. that is mis-gendering someone. when you identify someone with the wrong gender pronoun, you are effectively saying you dont respect their choice of their own gender identity! mis-gendering makes the person feel as if they are being treated as a less of a person to you and mis-gendering someone may be extremely triggering! so please, please ask someone which pronouns they prefer before you go ahead and assume! however if you simply make a genuine mistake it is okay, however when you purposely mis-gender someone that is when it becomes disrespectful and disgusting
