I always liked how author’s described (t’hy’la) bonds in fics and each fic is a bit different, but a lot of it is the same idea. That they are, you know, bonded already they just don’t know it yet (till they touch). It reminded me a lot of the Red String of Fate deal.

I'm not even done reading this, but I can tell that it is brilliant. Post ST:2009 - Kirk hides from reporters at his childhood home in Iowa, and Spock, through a drunken miscommunication, ends up joining him.

This very short, lovely story is just perfect. A series of snippets, set at 5 year intervals, tells the story of something that isn't only a friendship, but is never quite a romance (at least not in the way we usually define it). This left me feeling sad and satisfied and thinking "yes, exactly."
From Brian's POV. This is exactly the not romantic, romantic relationship that these guys would have.

I've been binge reading Brian/Michael stories recently - or trying to. There really aren't as many good stories about the pair as one might like. However, this story kept my interest, and did a good job portraying Brian Kinney.
