Just realized I haven't posted the art I did of my OC Varien on here. He's a half-elf bard from the College of Sirens, a homebrew class my friend Marek from Megaladon Games made.

Of course! Between the liquid in the bottle being black, the man who pioneered vanilla pollination (Edmund Albius) being Black, and the majority of vanilla today being produced in Madagascar, making the vanilla extract man Black was the obvious choice.

An entry for a J-fashion art contest, with the theme, Alice in Wonderland: Tea Time.

I wanted to draw Alice in a lolita outfit that reflected this theme, so she's wearing some accessories that called back to events from the story; a white rose painted red, a vial labelled, "drink me," and some very large keys.

I also wanted to tie the "Tea Time" theme into her outfit, so she's got a teacup holster on her harness with a clock-themed saucer, and the flowers pinned to her hat and necklace and printed on her collar and skirt hem are sprigs of the tea plant.

I wanted to incorporate playing cards in the piece, but I didn't want to overload her coordinate with too many disparate elements, so I worked them in as flying debris. The Queen of Hearts and Jack (also known as Knave) of Hearts are in the foreground, as they're notable characters in the story.

This boy in ouji fashion is the White Rabbit; he's described in the book as pink-eyed, wearing a waistcoat, and flustered about being late for a very important date.

This is Spymaster Loki. Once a poor thief who was shown clemency after getting caught stealing from the temple, Loki uses her skill as a thief and her shapeshifting & illusion magic to gather intel for the Empire.

A commission for my friend @orky-general, author of the Astrid's Apostle series. Loki will appear in book 3! Read the series so far here. (PS: I drew the maps in these!)

I commissioned Saint_Tears to draw my design of my Starfinder OC, Dr. Raemia “Tlin” Tlinnen, a Damaya Lashunta Biohacker / Mystic Overlord with a Grifter background. Tlin is a businessman first and a doctor second. After being expelled from one of the leading medical schools in the Pact Worlds for, "failing to uphold ethical standards," Tlin finished his degree at a school no-one had heard of, and used his education to engage in profitable business ventures, such as marketing overpriced serums to credulous consumers, and preforming questionably-legal operations for shady types who want no record of the transaction. A follower of Abadar with a mystical connection as an Overlord, Tlin uses his Inexplicable Commands power to psychically manipulate others with impunity.

Tlin signed a corpse-lease agreement with an Eoxian corporation to have Charming Psychoactive Eyes implanted as a necrograft. He figured, with the edge the augmentations would give him in closing deals, paying off the debt before his death would be more than feasible. He might have been right, had the corporation not been bought out in a hostile takeover. Under the new creditor's policy, Tlin's debt is already due. It's just a matter of time before agents arrive to collect.

I wanted to give this poor boy(?) an outfit that actually fit together. You can't just stick a cravat on a football uniform and call it fashion. I tried to find a balance between a design that drew clear inspiration from Avery's original outfit, while also looking good on its own. I'm fond of Japanese ouji / kodona / boystyle lolita fashion, so I drew inspiration from there.
