Wrath's I'm Confident and Don't Fuck With Me Spell

  • salt
  • piece of jewelry
  • ground cinnamon
  • candle
  • bowl

The piece of jewelry you will want for this spell is preferably one you or the intended wear often. It should be your favorite to wear. If you don’t often wear jewelry you can substitute with something else you might have on you daily.

Make sure the jewelry is clean. Set yourself up with your candle lit and have a bowl ready for catching the salt and cinnamon. Taking the jewelry in hand, sprinkle salt over it, reciting: I cleanse you of past negatives. I cleanse away the fears. A fresh slate for you and for me.

Now take the cinnamon and sprinkle it over the jewelry, reciting: I am strong. I am confident. In my strength, I will not be bothered, I will not be taken lightly. I am fierce as a lion and others will notice.

Brush off any remaining salt or cinnamon and pass the jewelry through the flame quickly, and safely. If it’s something that should not be burned….just hold it over the flame. Be smart. Recite this: Fire seals the deal. Seals the wishes, seals the strength. With me always, the confidence will show, the power within me. I will be treated like a lion.

Recharge the item whenever you see fit to, or at least every six months. Enjoy.

"Aphrodite's Glow", A simple glamour spell

Keep in mind, this is my first spell i’ve ever written! A lot of things could be tweaked or added (like candles, rose petals, etc)

What you will need: •A charged (with whatever method you choose) Rose Quartz or Crystal Quartz. •Water. Preferably moon or first snow water, but any will ol’ water should do. •A Bowl •A little something to offer Aphrodite (optional) •Any amount of rosemary you want.

Put the crystal in your bowl of water. Ask Aphrodite to bless the water, and leave something for her as a thank you, even if it’s not a full on offering. I should also mention this isn’t only tied with Aphrodite. It could work with any deity that promotes love or beauty.

Next, sprinkle as much or as little rosemary into the water as you please. With your hand above your bowl of water, say (once is okay, but saying it three times will give it a little extra kick!)

O, Goddess, O Goddess make me glow A shining beauty who gleams with health Enhance, Enhance, Enhance My natural beauty, I ask of you.

Dip your fingers in the water and sprinkle or flick it onto your face and/or body.

Katla’s Ocean Waves Spell Jar

This spell was inspired by the calming effect of the crashing waves, each one calming and cleansing, washing away the negativity of life. The idea of this spell is that general or negative energy will flow through the top, and will be filtered down as it passes through, until you are left with cleaner energy!

Ingredients:

  • jar with lid
  • sand
  • glitter (optional)
  • charcoal (optional)
  • strips of paper with positive quotes written on them
  • rose petals
  • rose quartz (or any stone that makes you happy)
  • seashells
  • black tourmaline (optional)
  1. I started off by writing out what I wanted the jar to do, “To take in negative energy and convert it into something nice”, and I added in a few (optional) sentences reaffirming this. I placed this on the bottom of the jar, and added in a few pieces of charcoal.
  2. I poured in a thin layer of sand and glitter, making sure that the first sheet was covered (you may want to use paper or something to funnel in the mixture, as it is quite messy). I added the strips of paper in, and made sure that each one either had something I like about myself, or something positive that my friends have said about me. I tried to space them out some, but you can put them in however you like!
  3. Once I got halfway through, I put in two large seashells that split up the first layer from the second layer.
  4. Afterwards, I poured some rose quartz chips in, and added the rose petals at the end.
  5. Finally, I added in the black tourmaline a a little bit more sand to make sure that it properly filters, and left it to charge in the moonlight (optional).

I plan on keeping it on my bookshelf, and making it so that if something bad does get through my wards, it will be forced to go through the bottle.

Ok so hi! Um…I'm a 14 year old Christian who wants to be a witch, but I don't know how I can get stuff for spells and I don't want my family to know…got any advice?

Avatar

Hey there!! And welcome to the witchy family! I apologize this has taken so long, I just wanted to make sure I gave you plenty of info! I’m so happy to hear from fellow young christowitches. I’m a closet witch too, so my best advice to you is: EXCUSES AND CRAFTS.

You can make all your witchy things right at home!! But you’ll need some excuses because unfortunately “for my witchcraft” doesn’t always to ever go over well. XD

Heres a few things you might like to do that are easy,

JARS:

You can create jar spell and call them “decorative”.  That also makes them fantastic for gifts to others as well!!

JEWELRY MAKING:

I bought loads of unpolished crystal arrangements on amazon for super cheap, and made my own witchy jewelry! You can wear them according to their magickal correspondence everyday! But everyone else won’t know it’s more than an interest!

COOKING/BAKING:

Herbs!!! There is probably a good amount right in your kitchen! Picking up baking as a “hobby” makes its easier to get new herbs and essentials by saying they’re for a “new recipe”. Cooking/bake with intent is a wonderful every day crafting. You can even leave a little food on your plate as a spirit offering.

DRINK TEA:

Tea has all kinds of magickal properties- drinking is beyond casual. You could also get tea leaves/grains (without the bags) and practice tasseomancy (tea leave/grain divination)

Stir things sunwise for positive energy. (Stir opposite for enemies :P )

CIRCLE CASTING:

This was one of my main problems I faced. How the heck do i cast a circle in a carpeted house?! Answer: Crocheting!!! Crochet a long line of whatever color you choose (remember  color correspondence!) And boil it in water infused with salt (and any herbs you’d like)

MEDITATION&MINDFULNESS:

You can literally do this at anytime. Stay grounded, stay in the moment, take a little to check in with yourself and the energies around you. If you actually have time to set aside for meditation, fantastic! Its a very healthy thing for your body and mind, which I think is a plenty good excuse.

SMELLS:

Who doesn’t love good smells?? You can buy essential oils and incenses with the excuse being because they’re more natural than those plug-ins.

NOTEBOOKS

My grimiore is a spiral notebook. It looks like a regular notebook, I carry it around with me everywhere. When someone asks, i say it’s because i like to write and draw. Which is completely true! You don’t have to have a rune-inscribed, leather bound, aged book for your magick to be real!! Its no less powerful than any other book. Its yours!

TECHNOLOGY:

This is the era of tech witches!! Witches use whats at their disposal. There are loads of apps, daily horoscopes, tarot, rune divination, moon phases, oils, candle, digital altars & grimiores , calendars,.. just about everything!!

SIGILS:

I constantly make sigils for anything and everything. They look like beautiful designs. You can draw them on you; if you wear makeup you can draw them on with that and then rub it right into your skin. You can draw them with chalk outside, you can draw them in the corner of your test, they work literally everywhere for everything!! If you want them to be secret, lemon juice is a fantastic invisible ink as is white chalk on white walls, dew on Windows, steam on mirrors after a shower ect.

DRYING HERBS/FLOWERS:

I have a vase in my room, and when I see an herb or flower I’d like to use for crafting I pick it and put it there. It just seems I like flowers, but the flower will die and dry up. You can also put them between the pages of big books to press them! Then there you have it!!

CANDLES:

You can make your own!! I say it’s a craft/hobby, you can infuse it with oils and herbs and flowers ect and carve things into them!! These are amazing personalized helpful gifts as well.

You can also get tea lights or birthday candles because they’re smaller, come in colors, and theres also battery powered versions.

MIRROR SPELLS:

A casual compact mirror you can take with you anywhere is easiest to use. you can use a dry erase marker to write on it so it wipes off clean and quick!!

COLLECT STUFF:

Find a cool rock, KEEP IT. You can paint sigils on it, use it in spells, charge them with specific intent, make a pendulum, ect.

GLAMOUR:

Charge and sigil everything!! Mirrors, hair brush, makeup, lotion, perfume/colognes, soaps, toothbrush, toothpaste, ..literally anything works!!

COLOR CORRESPONDENCES:

Buy a green wallet for wealth. Wear a blue shirt for your job interview. Buy a yellow school binder for success. Wear something pink to family gatherings for positive family relations, ect.

LEARN:

Research research research! Learn all you can. If a recipe calls for an herb you’ve never heard of, look it up. If you find a rock or crystal, try and identify it. Explore your craft and it’s history, and find friends on the way!!

ABOVE ALL:

Make everything your own!! This is your craft, do it your way! There is no such thing as wrong. We all have magick, embrace yours !

I hope this helps some, happy crafting!! ☽○☾ - K

I love kitchen witchcraft so much

It brings so many opportunities for everyday magic!

  • Tea and coffee make fantastic bases for quick, simple potions
  • Got a job interview? Have some tea to calm your nerves, with honey to sweeten your tongue and smooth interactions!
  • Angling for a raise or a promotion? Put some cinnamon in your coffee for that extra little nudge toward success!
  • Sigils! Outside of herbs, I think sigils are a kitchen witch’s best friend
  • Use jam or honey to draw a sigil on your toast before you eat it!
  • Use oil or butter to draw a sigil in your pan before cooking!
  • Ketchup on your scrambled eggs? Sigils!
  • Seriously, sigils are so useful
  • And don’t forget washing up!
  • You can literally “wash your hands” of bad energy while you do the dishes
  • Do curses or hexes in your kitchen? Clean up any leftover bad vibes while you wash your tools!
  • Speaking of tools, I love adapting kitchen utensils to witchcraft. They have so much of your energy in them already!
  • A well loved, well used chef’s knife makes a great athame!
  • Have a favorite pot? That’s a cauldron! Mine’s a cast iron Dutch oven!
  • A wooden spoon can double as a wand!
  • And I love using my cutting board as a sort of altar to lay out all of my tools and ingredients before working!

There’s just so much room for witchcraft in the kitchen. It’s fantastic!

What is the difference between the Hedgewitch, Kitchen Witch, & Green Witch?

It seems a Kitchen witch is more of an American term. A Hedge witch is more of a British term and a hearth witch are easily used in both areas. A lot of people view these three aspects of the witch as one in the same thing, with a few minor differences, and I believe this to be true, especially when you look at the similarities between the Hedge, Kitchen, and Green witch:  all three of these practices involve using natural things of the world, those things found around you, to create magic– herbs and stones; energies of the animal world; folk magic; personal spells; and informal spell casting, rather than heavy-duty ritual.  Most of these practices involve a solitary practitioner, and this practitioner tends to be very independent and imaginative in their magickal endeavors.  Simplicity is the bottom line, inter-laced with old world charm.

The Green Witch…connects with the power and magickal energy found within herbs.  Her magic is natural and is often attuned to healing– healing of the body, mind, and soul through the world of herbs and the abundant magickal power found there.  This witch tends to be a solitary practitioner, often tending her gardens, perhaps even growing many of the herbs she uses in her practice.  She has a unique connection to nature and to the seasons, particularly in the aspect of growing and harvesting.

Kitchen Witch…her magick lay in the heart of the home, at the hearthfire itself.  Her practices will also include using those items around her that are a natural part of her world.  The Kitchen Witch has the ability to tap into herbs, stones, as well as other mundane items found in her home, and unleash the magickal energy from within.  This witch incorporates this magick in her daily life– in the meals she prepares for her family, the way in which she cleanses and cares for her home, through magickal potions from her own unique recipes, and in her private and simple rituals and spells.

Hedgewitch…this witch prefers to live close to nature and is strongly connected to the natural world, often enjoying a relationship with the wild things that mundane people may find strange or unusual.  The Hedgewitch is grounded, close to the earth and all its elements.  She is the most elusive of the natural witches, often secretive about her practices and her magick, protective of that which she holds sacred.  Her magick transcends the more common use of herbs and potions, candles and such, and originates strongly from her natural connections to all things in nature and the fundamental energy found there.

tips for treating yoself

body:

  • Exfoliate once or twice a week.
  • Let your vagina breathe - don’t wear underwear to bed unless you’re on your period.
  • Change your pad/tampon/etc at least twice a day.
  • Don’t wash up inside your vagina (aka douching) it will tip the pH balance in your vagina and you will end up with an infection, you can wash around your thighs/pubic area but that’s it, same applies with perfumes and other body cosmetics.
  • Use coconut oil its good for so many things!!
  • Use body butters after getting out of the shower.
  • Use tea-tree oil for pimples.
  • Use sunscreen!!!
  • For people with oily skin - use blotting paper around your eyes and in your T - zone.
  • Don’t squeeze/pick at pimples - the bacteria on your hands will only make them worse and will create more redness.
  • Always use moisturiser before applying makeup
  • When washing your vagina, lift up the clitoral hood and softly rub your finger along the hood to wipe away dead skin cells. If you end up masturbating, fuck it.

Hair:

  • Wash your hair every 2-3 days. Don’t wash every day because it will make your head dry, try dry shampoos instead.
  • Use conditioning treatments weekly in the summer to prevent your hair from losing it’s colour.
  • Brush your curls with your fingers to create a more tousled look.
  • Before blow drying your hair use volumizing spray or gel on your roots for more definition in your hair.
  • Use shampoos that are sulfate free as sulfates dry and damage your hair quicker.
  • If your hair is greasy avoid conditioning the roots, just the ends.
  • Trim your hair every 6-8 weeks so you have healthy hair and no damaged ends.
  • Use avacado oil on your hair in the winter to stop your hair from drying out.
  • Dry shampoo is also very good for volumizing your hair.
  • The best way to get rid of ingrown hair is to exfoliate.
  • Avoid dry shaving your pubes, this will cause redness and spots which are easily treated with hydrocortisone cream or aloe vera.
  • If you are to shave, use conditioner instead of shaving cream - you will get a smoother result - that goes for anywhere you shave.
  • If you have a big ole mess in your pants try trimming your bush before you shave/wax it.
  • Waxing HURTS so if you’re dealing with the burns then place a cold towel in the sore area and leave it for about 15 minutes and then apply aloe.
  • If you experience chest/breast hair the best thing to do is pluck the hairs, it’s painful but rewarding.

Makeup:

  • Clean your makeup brushes, regularly along with any other makeup appliances (beauty blenders, makeup pads) in a mix of warm water and a little bit of soap.
  • Use a blotting tissue and then add a small amout of cream concealer onto your eye makeup to prevent smudging.
  • Matte lipstick goes best with a shimmer eye makeup.
  • Wearing white eyeliner counteracts the redness in your eyes.
  • To make your cheekbones appear higher, use bronzer under the cheekbone and highlighter on the actual cheekbone.
  • In summer if you want to avoid caking yourself with foundation - use tinted moisturiser or BB cream instead.
  • Always wash your makeup off before going to bed, don’t leave it on.
  • Always make sure you blend your foundation so your neck isn’t a different colour to your face.
  • Clean your makeup bag out every once in a while and get rid of any products you don’t use - its cleaner, tidier and more hygienic.
  • Always make sure you have tape and q-tips handy. Tape is great for a perfect winged eyeliner and q-tips are great for cleaning and tidying up those hard to reach areas.
  • Concealer works great for a base for your eye makeup as the makeup will stick to it.
  • Using highlighter and illuminators on your cheekbones, browbone and cupid’s bow for a “dewy look”.
  • When using cream products like eyeshadow or blush - use translucent powder to set it in place.
  • Kat Von-D lipstick is blow job proof :)
  • Replace mascara and eyeliners every 3 months or so.
  • Don’t share makeup/appliances for your eyes, it may cause infections like conjunctivitis and maybe a sty.
  • Blot your lips after applying lipstick to avoid getting lipstick teeth.

General:

  • Change your bra every 5-11 days.
  • Always make sure your feet are dry before putting on socks and shoes to prevent fungal infections.
  • Wash blood stained clothes in cold water with 2 tablespoons of salt.
  • Try your own homemade beauty recipes.
  • If you peel/lick your lips it will damage them, don’t do that.
  • Applying eye cream on the cuticles of your nails will make them stronger and healthier.
  • Always carry tampons/pads even when you’re not on your period, someone else might need them.
  • Clean out your purse!! Get rid of all that junk and you will thank yourself next time you’re looking for something.
  • Masturbate. Whenever you can, it’s rewarding and good for you. (yes girls masturbate too).
  • Always pee after sex/masturbation to help avoid getting a UTI.
  • Bio-oil is good for stretch marks (as well as loving them).
  • Save some nice underwear for yourself and just wear your dead old pants when you’re on your period.
  • Buy yourself some nice underwear/lingerie whenever you can. Make sure it’s 100% cotton though otherwise you can get a yeast infection.
  • Test yourself every once in a while for STDs. It’s necessary.
  • Carry a condom on you, it’s not just the guy’s responsibility.
  • Apply a damp tissue to blotchy, red skin after crying, it will make you look as if you haven’t been crying at all.
  • Don’t let boys ruin your day.
  • Use a paperclip to clip the back of your bra straps together to create a racerback bra.
  • Wrap a maxi pad or pantyliner around any poking underwires in your bra.
  • Wash your pillow case every 1-2 weeks to help prevent acne.
  • Cucumbers are good for dark circles and puffy eyes just place a slice over your eyes and leave for about 15 minutes.

treat and love yourself and your body will reward you!!!

A spell jar for endless nights, sunny days and a summer full of joy and fun. A wordless vow to make this the best summer ever.

You will need:

  • Sunflower petals, or 1 full sunflower head (can be substituted by your favourite flower)
  • Daisies
  • Grass
  • Clear Quartz
  • Sunstone or citrine (if you have it)
  • Pen and paper
  • A jar

Put the rest of the objects in the jar. Hold the jar in both hands and visualise your happiest summer memories and will your energy into the jar.

Lavender Water

I got the idea to make this water a while ago when I was shopping around at my local Botanica where they had a lovely but quite expensive Aqua de Lavender. If you already have lavender, OR know where to get it at a decent price this can cost you around 7 bucks, Compared to like 15.

The uses for Waters are literally endless but I’m making my Lavender Water to help with Anxiety, For cleansing Baths, Cleansing air mist, and cleansing Spray. Notice a theme here?

To make yours you will need 3 things.

  1. Lavender Buds
  2. 100 proof Vodka, Or White Vinegar (I used vinegar here)
  3. A glass Container

To get your Lavender the most fragrant give it a nice grind in a mortar and pestle, Or bowl. Add the lavender to your bottled liquid and shake it the hell up. Thats it.

Within an hour the color will deepen into a nice purple, ruby tint.

You can strain the lavender once it has reached your desire scent / color but I like to keep mine in.

Enjoy!
