I agree, the project they put together is wonderful, and I’m sad to see the negative effects that have come with it gaining so much popularity so quickly. That’s why before I created any fan art, I read through the posts they made about not reposting artwork of theirs made before January 2021, not relating real life tragedies to the story, not sending them speculative questions about their project, not buying or selling any merchandise with Welcome Home on it, and not creating NSFW art of their characters, to make sure the fan art that I made would not violate any of these boundaries.

Clown did say that people were welcome to create fan art of their characters if they followed these guidelines, and I didn’t tag them in what I created so as not overwhelm them, as I’m sure they’ve recieved a lot of attention on here as well. Someone did ask where the designs for the child versions of the neighbors came from, and I didn’t want that credit to be taken from Clown, so I reblogged their post (which was made in January of 2021) to show where it was on their original account. I understand that even though Clown said that people were welcome to create fan art, I understand that so much fan attention can be overwhelming, so the last post that I made of baby Howdy will be the last piece of fan art that I create for Welcome Home.

Something about the Great Sage Equal to Heaven makes me feel like Wukong has never had a cold or the flu, so I feel like he’d have NO idea how to take care of MK. Macaque has a good head on his shoulders, I feel like he’d have a good soup recipe to warm MK up and actually know how to help him get better.
