Ive been rewatching poirot with my brother and hastings is such a stupid little himbo I love it. Every episode with him is just him failing successfully at everything and saying «good lord!» a lot, then after the murder is solved and poirot has explained how it wasn`t mr smith but actually mr johnson who poisoned lord lacey we get an ending scene of hastings going «I still dont get it poirot, how did mr smith hide the poison?»
