Check out frequent doodle contributor and mixed media artist Darren Waterston’s ambitious installation, Filthy Lucre.

The anchor of Filthy Lucre is a modern re-imagining of James McNeill Whistler's Harmony in Blue and Gold: The Peacock Room. The original, in the London home of shipping magnate Frederick Leyland, was designed to showcase Leyland’s collection of Asian ceramics, with Whistler’s painting La Princesse du pays de la porcelaine featured over the mantel.

Check out this Boston Globe article to learn more and read Darren’s blog to learn about his process of creating this installation!
