I bought this book and it’s super, duper cute!

speaking of mlm princes!

The author co-wrote another book called Maiden & Princess!!

This is also a wonderfully queer children’s book. Spoiler: the prince comes out at the end as trans

I will be buying ALL of these for my little cousins 6th birthday

Another really cute one, by Katie O'Neill one of my favorite childrens graphic novel authors

Just fyi, the Prince in The Prince and the Dressmaker actually comes out more as genderqueer than trans, exactly. Here’s an exerpt from an interview with the author:

Orsini: By the end of the story, Prince Sebastian seems to still be splitting his time between dresses and menswear. What does this say about his gender identity?
Wang: To me, Sebastian is someone who identifies with different modes of gender expression and is comfortable alternating between both masculine and feminine. Genderqueer is probably the best descriptor. But I’m also open to readers’ interpretations of how they see the character. If a reader feels that this story is just the first step to Sebastian discovering they’re trans, or if they feel Sebastian is a cis male that likes to dress up I’m happy with all of that!

After a terrible political coup usurps their noble house, twins Hawke and Grayson flee to stay alive and assume new identities, Hanna and Grayce. Desperation and chance lead them to the Communion of Blue, an order of magical women who spin the threads of reality to their will.

As the twins learn more about the Communion and themselves, they begin to hatch a plan to avenge their family and retake their royal home. While Hawke wants to return to his old life, Grayce struggles to keep the threads of her new life from unraveling, and realizes she wants to stay in the one place that will allow her to finally live as a girl.

girls will say they "know a spot" then take you to the sacrificial altar

girls will tell you "there's this really great place, it's a bit of a walk but it's worth it" then lead you to the middle of the forest and leave you there

did something happen

can i get back to you on that one? i'm kind of being hunted for sport rn

not to get too deep on main but did anyone else have such deeply rooted issues with their self worth for so long that they thought as a kid/teen that their only redeeming feature was being “low maintenance” and now as an adult you give yourself guilt pangs asking for any more than the barest minimum in virtually any relationship because asking for things might negate your only good quality which is just “doesn’t ask for things”
