Nightwolf returns home and gets chided by his mother for not eating enough. His nieces and nephews ask for rides on his motorcycle. His aunty asks for all the details of the realms.
Jax returns home and greets his grandfather and uncles. His sisters tell him he looks ridiculous wearing long sleeves on hot days. His wife tells him he looks just as handsome as the day they met.
Johnny returns home and gives his mother a huge hug. He asks his sister how old his niece is and he always exclaims that she's gotten so big. His brother asks him if he's called their dad, Johnny doesn't answer.
Sonya returns home and gets hugged by all her aunts immediately. Her brother tells her that her new title fits her perfectly. She visits her father's alter, places a kiss on his photo and says she misses him.
Lao returns home and gets greeted by the entire family. He enjoys dinner answering a variety of questions and makes a face when his mother seems a bit too invested in his mention of Raiden. He always steps away to glance at Jin's old room.
Kuai returns to the Lin Kuei compound and bows before the statue of his grandfather. He searches endlessly through the archives for the slightest mention of his home before the Lin Kuei. He gives up and returns to Bi-Han waiting for him with tea.
Raiden returns to the Sky Temple and watches over Liu Kang training. He sets a blanket on Kung Lao after the man fell asleep studying. At the end of the day, he recieves a message from Fujin saying he will visit soon.

Naturally, while being made out of fear, they can also inflict fear upon others using their worst nightmares against them, using said inflicted fear to fuel him further.
