these are both………… pretty weird. i get that wonder woman’s outfit has been the same since 1941 but she still serves as a good example, and idek what’s going on with valkyrie. a lot of people praise this for being “feminine but functional” but this still means there’s some armor smith out there carefully molding breastplates to fit each individual boob (as per that one tumblr post going around that i don’t have the link to).

there you go. some real women wearing real armor made for real combat situations. now listen, i’ve worn this and yeah—– this shit’s functional. and no, it doesn’t squish your boobs in, no matter what you’re doing. it actually fits quite snugly despite how it looks. see how no effort was made to have individual boobs poke through? that’s because that shit ain’t necessary. in fact the breast molding would be pretty terrible for your rib cage but i’m sure you’ve all seen that post.

These clauses are underhanded ways that corporations seek to deprive you of your right to participate in class-action lawsuits and your right to a jury trial. (This does only apply to us users ,other people still spread the word though )

Bad news, @noodelzmop. Arbitration basically means that if you want to sue Discord for whatever reason, the dispute needs to be handled in house. Specifically, in their house. If you don't get this email out, you're basically signing away your right to legal recourse if they do criminally shitty stuff to you, like with the McDonalds app.

I have been told that emailing "I am confirming that as of the date of this email, I am choosing to opt out of binding arbitration to settle disputes with Discord." With the Email you used for your discord account is enough for the notice but take this with a grain of salt as this was not said by a lawyer

[URGENT: German police have announced they are shutting down the Palestine Congress and demanded delegates leave immediately. They have threatened to use force and already arrested one of the organizers, Jewish activist Udi Raz. He is the third person to be arrested today, two of them Jewish.

The announcement comes after police stormed the speakers' stage just 20 minutes after the congress had begun, shut down the organizers' livestream and then broke into the control room and shut off the power.

Police then went round to each delegate and demanded they stop livestreaming from their phones.

900 police are deployed to the congress, whose start they held up for hours. They demanded that organizers allow all German media into the congress, ironically to "safeguard free speech" and then denied entry to most of the registered delegates.

Hey, y'all in the notes: she wasn't asking you to call her beautiful or say she's adorable or "uwu she's so sweet i would die for her". She's asking you to interact with physically different creators regardless of if you think they're beautiful or not. Beauty standards are a farce and we need to stop implying that beautiful is the most important thing someone can be. Every person who says "oh she's so sweet I would die for her" or "anyone who calls her ugly is getting their kneecaps caved in": this is for you. You are being madly infantalising. It's like when you say to a fat person "oh you're not fat, you're cuddly" like, shut up! I thought we were past this by now. She is a PERSON and you are all scrambling to say just how beautiful you think she is, without even thinking about the message she is trying to send.

This isn't me saying she's ugly or whatever the fuck. I don't believe in ugly. This is me telling you all to stop being so fucking surface level with your beauty 'activism'.
