I don’t think enough people remember just how haunting Legendary Godzilla’s first introduction to the world was.
Happy Anniversary to the Godzilla 2014.

Give me a word or few and I'll write you a poem!
Oooooh alright! But I do have to make the words as chaotic as possible because why not lol
so “color” “sky” “bee” “movie” “platypus” “shoelaces” and “hellsite”
There's something so odd about my childhood
How every summer when the world dreamt of fun
Of bees buzzing and beaches and cool lemonade
I watched as the smoke rolled across a blazed sky.
The country the colour of red sand and blue mountains
The home to koalas and emus and platypi
Was once again burning the colour of heat.
The golden flames destroying my country
While I sat unbothered in a small stuffy classroom.
It was like a scene out of a dystopian movie
Children called to the office and sent home early.
We knew their street was to be evacuated
And vaguely we wondered if we would next.
And so as I tie my shoelaces once more
I remember the scent of the eucalypt fires.
And when we drive through the blackened countryside
We think of the hellsite that once used to be.
Now I don't expect pity, for this is normal to me
It's what nature does to renew her fertility.
Yet as the year closes and summer approaches
I feel a familiar feeling of dread.
And people wonder why I hate summer.
Sorry I felt inspired-
even more poetry?!!!??
this is so very beautiful and intriguing! i’m so glad you felt inspired, thank you!!!!
A CLOUD FELL?
Snow?
that is bubble soap. someone has made a tragic mistake
Let me tell you a story.
My mom had a hot tub, she traded a refrigerator for it. One day the water needed changed, and I went to her, the darling teenager that I was, and said, “Mom, can we put bubble bath in the hot tub?”
She looked at me like I’d lost my damned mind, a look that I got from my mom a lot.
“But, mom, we’re going to be changing the water!,” I insisted.
She told me I could, so I called all of my friends, because dear god I was putting bubble bath in the fucking hot tub, and this might be the best thing I’d done in my entire life. And with a full size bottle of bubble bath in hand we all got in the hot tub, I upended the whole bottle, and turned on the jets.
The bubbles started rising at an alarming rate, soon I could see nothing but bubbles because they’d engulfed my head. There was much laughter as we all got buried in the foam. After awhile I finally stood up. There were three feet of solid bubbles towering above the hot tub, the deck looked about like the picture above, there were bubbles in the trees, and wafting into my neighbors’ lawns. Everything was bubbles, and to date it still might be the best thing I’ve ever done in my life.
I’m adding this to my bucket list
People really underestimate this relationship and favor Katara’s grief over Aang so much that we never really get to see fan art of her and her brother. Ultimately, I feel like Sokka’s death had the potential to hurt her the most - especially if we consider that Aang could have died before him, and he was all she really had left. But that’s all speculative.

Can you guys reblog this one instead, cos it has my WM on it and also it’s on the new acct. thank.

People rarely notice your flaws that you worry about, because they’re too busy worrying that you’ll notice theirs. Remember this if you feel self conscious or embarrassed
You gave a million monkeys a million typewriters. They immediately wrote a contract detailing the terms and conditions for employing the monkey horde.
Here is the composition for the Queen of Spades, the asexual pride knight!
Spades feature a space theme! The idea is to engrave her armor with constellations and to give her a starry black sword.
there is a very real tendency of teenagers with anxiety disorders self diagnosing with considerably more stigmatized and impairing mental illnesses (e.g. schizophrenia, DID, personality disorders), but the best response to that isn't to get angry with them for "appropriating" lol. instead you show them coping resources for the problems they're actually having and deemphasize diagnostic categories in general. if an 18 year old is claiming to have alzheimer's, they're probably making an innocent mistake and are in genuine distress. be kind.
Also I think this trend comes, at least in part, from how brushed aside anxiety disorders can be. If your parents and teachers dismiss you with 'oh everyone feels anxious', then inevitably you're going to start thinking that there must be something else going on with you
”You must feel very scared right now; let’s talk about how to help you personally, tailored to your symptoms” will always be more helpful than “stop faking (X) for attention”. If theyre that desperate for attention or an explanation, something is wrong.
Literally where would be as a society without the soup store video
ive never met anyone under 25 who hasnt seen it.
It's literally an impossibly good video. The fucking performance and sheer ANGER and building frustration from both party's, the absurdity, the slow ramping ridiculousness, the way the diologue flows off itself at a breakneck speed, the phrase "I'm at soup" the pure fucking rage off both parties, the sheer almost unbelievable idiocy from the guy who's 'at soup,' the way it ends so ubruptly without losing any momentum. Its insane. I've watched it 150 times in like 2 years its never not funny.
here’s the video since op didn’t link it
Fun fact: this was written, edited, and voice acted by one guy.
Fun fact #2: this whole sketch was apparently based on an overheard conversation where someone was trying to buy chicken at The Gap.
Fun fact #3: there is actually a clothing store called Soup.
