There’s a happy ending to, because the robbery was unsuccessful, the couple ended up getting the money Eden needed from a movie inspired by em! Also John only had to serve part of his sentence. Check out their wedding photos btw they’re beautiful.

reblogging because I’ve seen this post a thousand times and I’ve never seen the happy ending!!

Everyone go watch Dog Day Afternoon please please please it’s the movie mentioned in this thread it’s Sidney Lumet’s best imo and Al Pacino plays John and he is heartbreakingly good in it.

Not only have we always existed, but there have always been people who loved us. Never forget that.

Here’s the song, if you’re curious. The song immediately starts off with the big tits chorus, which really compliments the serious quote photo that the uploader chose.

We finally have the full lyrics of this masterpiece, and…

It gets so much better.

You’ll never be a pony, Jimmy. You don’t have the honesty, the generosity, the pureness of heart. You just take and take. You’re not a pony at all.

And HE gets to have a cutie mark? What a sick joke.

Babe wake up, new Blood just dropped

Avatar

HUGE day for vampires

Stared at this for a while before havin to type this up! Yeah, thia is definitely a great discovery they made last year, but just to clear up some stuff, it isn't as significant as adding a whole new blood type-

nobody's going to go 'oh my blood type is Er+', this isn't a new blood type that's been mischaracterized this whole time, so no needa get your blood type rechecked.

Lemme give a brief explanation of what a blood group system is! It refers to the antigens, which are little proteins on the surface of your cells. Most of us know the most basic blood group systems, ABO and Rhesus. Example below!

When somebody says 'oh, my blood type is O+', they're expressing two blood group systems. The first is ABO group system, which refers to your blood type, which can be A, B, AB, and O. The second system is the Rhesus group system, which refers to the + and -. These two are the most commonly known because they're the most important in transfusion reactions- here's a chart for reference!

To put an example simply- take a look at the blood of a B+ person. They will have anti-A antibodies floating around. This means if they receive blood from an A+ person, they will experience both ABO incompatibility reactions. This usually leads to acute hemlolytic transfusion reaction (AHTR). The anti-A antibodies of the B+ host will bind to the antigens of the donor blood cell, which will lead to hemolysis- the donor blood cell being destroyed.

But the above chart is just referring to 2 blood group systems (ABO and Rhesus).

There are actually 44 identified blood group systems (that we know of so far, as of 17 July 2023). Many antigens on blood cells and antibodies in our blood that can react against them! To study the latest one, this new blood group system consists of 5 antigens, Era, Erb, Er3, Er4 and Er5. This was brought to light because 30 years ago, two women lost their babies due to erythroblastosis foetalis, which you can think of as a pregnancy-specific AHTR. The antibodies of the pregnant individual binds to the antigens in thr baby's blood, destroying the red blood cell and eventually leads to the baby's death. Thanks to a new study, it is understood that for these women in particular, they had antibodies that bound to Er4 and Er5.

So this discovery is what led to Er being recognized as a blood group!
