The murdered Boeing whistleblower really does look my conventionally deceased father and I keep getting jumpscared by pictures of him. When my father died I dreamed about him at least once a week for months, it was always some variation of "I'm not dead, I've just been fucking with you" which is/was/would be very much in character for him.

Crazy to me how relatively recent the "thumbs up" gesture/usage as we understand it is. I must use it at least a dozen times a day to either inquire or answer and inquiry without having to use any words ("You good?" "Do you need help?" "Is this OK?" // "Everything's good here" "I'm doing fine" "I agree, that works for me"). Sometimes I just don't feel like talking but I gotta know

Which is not to accuse them of anything because when they did go on the Lateshow they started chating "Free Mumia Abu Jamal" in the middle of their performance without telling anyone they were going to do that, a clip that has apparently been scrubbed from Youtube because I cannot find it again.
