To easily search through all submitted works, check out the directory!

Thanks to the mods and beta readers @browneyedgenius @danisnotmyname @kaorimaxwell-blog @lilolilyr @onaperduamedee @ussjellyfish @startrekgeorgiouery and everyone who reblogged and commented on the works as well! This fortnight event could not have happened without you.

If you are interested in participating in the Fortnight again next year, please like this post to let us know, and of course reblog to share the word!

Any recommendations and suggestions for the future can be sent to us in an ask, anonymous, or not! If you want to help mod the Ao3 collection or the tumblr blog of the fortnight in the future, please let us know.

Please make sure to support the creators by reblogging and commenting on their works!

Thank you for all the wonderful prompt submissions! Voting is now open. Please vote for up to 12 prompts at the link below. For each day we're hoping to have two to three prompts depending on the responses gathered. Please only vote once! LLAP!

Heeeey, here's an open access book on JSTOR you might be interested in: Fighting for the Future: Essays on Star Trek: Discovery.

This volume brings together 18 essays and one interview about the series, with contributions from a variety of disciplines including cultural studies, literary studies, media studies, fandom studies, history and political science. They explore representations of gender, sexuality and race, as well as topics such as shifts in storytelling and depictions of diplomacy.

You know you're in for a serious ride when the preface is titled "Unheimlich Star Trek"!

This year, we won't run our Fortnight event mainly because of mod unavailability, but worry not: a very similar event is organized on @startrekfemslashweek for all Star Trek wlw content!

Make sure to click through their short participation survey if you already know you'll create something, so the mods know it'll be worth it to organize the event! Prompts will be revealed in June to give you ample time to write and draw until the actual posting happens in the first week of September.

Have fun! And send us an ask if you're interested in helping with future DSC or Star Trek Femslash events, and feel free to follow, we might still be back next year!

Interest survey now closed! Thank you all so much for taking the time to fill it out, we got a huge response.

From now until May 21st, prompt submissions will be open! Please send in any ideas you have for prompts to our askbox. You can send these in anonymously if you'd like! Prompts can be Star Trek related, or more generally related - it's up to you. We look forward to hearing from you!

Better late than never -  it’s a massive, heartfelt thank you from us!  In StarTrekPotLuck2022 we savoured a record breaking 31 original fanworks over 14 days, covering a 9 Star Trek fandoms ✨ A toast to all our chefs who put so much hard work and creativity into their fanwork and made it all possible!

Below is a ‘thank you’ edit for each of our chefs (because, of course, no one goes home empty handed after a potluck!) as well as links to our creators and their fantastic potluck dishes.

If you enjoyed any of these works be sure to send your compliments to the chef! Go show our creators some love in the comments and if you’re feeling inspired to combine Star Trek with food, drink, and community well then… we’ll see you in August! 😉🖖💛✨

✨ Individual ‘Thank You’ edits and links to works under the cut ✨

ULTIMATE MILVES BRACKET

calling all older women enjoyers! have you ever seen a 35-year-old with no kids and no panache described as a milf, and felt so personally offended you learned how to seed a bracket? great news! i have too much time on my hands.

welcome to the ULTIMATE MILVES BRACKET, a competition to find the ultimate fictional milf. your submission via google form will be judged by the most learned of milf media connoisseurs (me and my gay friends).

the ULTIMATE MILF criteria:

  • must be 40 or older unless she’s a non-corporeal, ageless entity or some sort of robot. this is literally critical
  • must be fictional—aka “gerri kellman” not “j. smith-cameron”
  • does not need to have kids, but you will have to make a stronger argument for childless milves. i believe in your vision

submissions will close on Sunday 3/26! nominate a milf today!

just want to emphasize that this is trans inclusive bracket. we would love and appreciate any transgender milves you want to submit! and terfs will be blocked on sight 🙏 amen

Hello! I'm conducting a Star Trek: TOS fan poll to compare results taken over the next few months to the results gathered by Trek magazine in 1978, 1985, and 1986. The poll takes about 10 minutes to fill out and I would really appreciate if people shared it even if they've never watched TOS. I'm hoping to be a comparable sample size to that of the original survey (around 300 people), if not more! I have a section where you can leave an e-mail if you would like to be notified when I publicize the results in some form.

Boosting 🖖
